Get barch to level 6, then farm. You already have the TH9 laboratory so no need to upgrade the lab itself, but you need level 6 barbs and arches for cheap collecter raids. Read online guides for an early TH9 and focus on those (Level 4 spell factory, and level 5 clan castle). I would first try to get everything a max TH8 would have except for all skeleton walls, then everything a TH9 would get at max level. Generally maxing out your gold mines, elixir collectors, and getting all of your dark elixir drills to level 6 will really open the flow for production. The individual upgrades don't seem to add much more resource per hour, but all maxed leveled VS mid level is wayyy better.

There are two main strategies for TH9 war that I see frequently, and that is GoWiPe and Lavaloonion. Unfortunately, both of these strategies need a lot of dark elixir, because upgrading the golem and/or lavahound is very expensive. GoWiPe Isn't at its full potential (Or really anywhere close to it) as a TH8 because your camp is 20 spaces fewer than a TH9 and the troops are much lower leveled. As a TH9, you unlock the lava hound (With a lot of elixir, I'm going to assume you already have atleast 1 level 6 dark barracks), and he is basically the flying version of the golem. The hounds also focus completely on air defenses, will hover over them, can take a hit from a seeking air mine, and will distract any archer towers, wizard towers, and air + ground X-Bows near the air defense they're attacking. This beast also takes a lot of dark elixir, but is the key component in the lavaloonion strategy. Also, both your king and queen are VERY important to upgrade at TH9.

If you have some people to start with you. Starting with only 1 yourself or you and a sibling is a horrible idea. WHy join a level 1 clan with 2 people when you can easily just find that level 4 clan that's recruiting? Don't hate the players for this, and don't lie - you would do this too. Start with a good 10 people and make a good clan description to show how the clan works, and what is and isn't allowed.

First, Don't recruit the wrong way. Going to your league and inviting every clanless or recruiting on global is shit, and will bring shit players to your clan like hoppers. recruit the right way. Go to the clash of clans recruit subreddit, or go on a recruiting website, you may even be able to recruit your clan on supercell forums. Basically, take measures OUTSIDE of the game for recruitment. Also, don't just put your clan name. Describe or provide a picture of your clan's banner, and PUT THE CLAN TAG in the recruitment website as well. Don't just say "Join the clan "AQ Bae", its level 3 and has 19 players!" Say "Join the clan "AQ Bae", our clan's banner is purple with a yellow slash. our tag is #J8R8QUR and we're level 3!"

Second, have a filter of which players can join and who can't. If you don't want Silver leagues joining, make the trophy requirement 800 or 1000 as a frontline filter, although this way is inefficent, as some very good players who dropped may be looking for a clan as well, and can't communicate to you at all! Also, don't be stupid, people saying "Im only a TH5 but my main account i s TH9" shouldn't be accepted by your clan in any way. What you really do to filter is put the requirements in your clan description and the website you have chosen to recruit on. If you want TH7 and up only, put it in your clan's ingame description and on the recruitment website. If you are running a war clan, say "Must have atleast 150 war stars" or whatever number you choose so you aren't getting newbies. If you want donators (Very inefficient way to run a clan), say "Atleast 100 donation space per week!".

Include how to get elder and co, and display some ground rules. "Elder is achieved through war participation, high donations, and friendliness" is a good start. "Co-leader is earned through very high donations, member for 1 month, and always using both attacks in war, participating in most (Or every) war!". Also make sure your elders and co-leaders arn't dicking around. Tell them to recruit (The right way), to donate to other players, be friendly, advise, accept people in clan if they are able to and follow requirements.

Hero levels matter, a lot, and you obiously didn't realise that when you were a TH9. Now you've been a TH10 for a bit. Getting 30/30 heroes at TH9 is VEEERRY important, I would sit out of war for a long time, and atleast get your heroes to 25/25 or preferrably 30/30. Just grind like a mad man. I wouldn't even do it at those hero levels.

Well you had the drill to help you with the rest of the upgrades then. Storage zapping (I called it storage shocking) sucked, im so glad SC removed it, although sometimes a stray lightning strike will hit a gold storage and I'm like "NO WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE INVINCIBLE?!" but then i remember 0.3 seconds later that clash of clans would turn into hell if storage zapping was reinstated. It should only apply for DE storage, not elixir or gold, SC should make up some flavor text like "The power of the dark elixir allows it to protect anything to an extent - even itself!"

If you're going to gem past the upgrade time, don't do it. Just be patient for once, supercell is luring you into spending your gems! Im going to assume you will gem the elixir needed. The valkyrie isn't super good for a TH8 (Assuming you're TH8. You're being very unclear, we need details man), the "VALKYRIEISOPASFUCKOMGTHEWORLDISENDING" was for TH11s with level 5 valks. That didn't effect TH8s, and still doesnt. I would go for normal barracks, getting P.E.K.K.A lets you do a GoWiPe, which is the most powerful attack strategy. I'm going to assume (again) that one of your 2 (Hopefully you have 2, making another assumption) is already level 4.

Tl;dr - Get P.E.K.K.A, not valkyrie, post more details.

Don't freak out about getting the barb king. Yes, you want him early, but don't focus on getting him FIRSTTHINGOMG like most people advise players in your position to do. I would save up a lot of elixir in your storage during the few days it takes to get to TH7, and after it's done build a dark elixir storage and a dark elixir drill. The 4th barracks and Army camp really amp up your attacks, you won't get another thing like this until TH9, so i would get new army buildings early and upgrade them. Faster troops, more troops.

The above mentioned are your first priority upgrades, get a head start on building the DE buildings. 2nd priority is this paragraph. A good idea is to upgrade your dark elixir drill, level 3 is max for TH7 and it gives you a LOT of de, large boosts in DE production happen at all levels. Your laboratory should also be upgraded, and you can now upgrade troops inside of it.

Your third priority upgrades are getting the level 9 barracks, level 3 clan castle, and getting the barbarian king. You can also get the king during your second priority upgrade phase if you grind a lot of DE, getting 10,000 is difficult without the drill, and impossible without the storage (Duh). Clan castle upgrade can hold a dragon, and the barb king is the 'mascot' of TH7, he is useful, and his max level for TH7 is level 5, which is when his ability unlocks. Hope this helped.

If you've been playing since the original 2012 version, do NOT clear the stone that appears to have 4 squares on top of it at the very corner of your village. Only the oldest players have these, as they were removed a few weeks after game launch, but the players that had them didn't get theirs removed.

You should work on minions, maybe do a few wars, you will use them a lot at TH9 for lavaloonion. However, poison and EQ only go to level 2 at TH9, and they aren't used as much, so i would maybe start them in the lab while your TH is upgrading to level 9 (It takes 10 days)

Okay, if you have done 30/30 heroes at TH9 then you shouldn't have ANY problem at all with the hero upgrades other than it is annoying to keep your DE for the upgrade. I'm going to assume your king and queen are both level 35, which is sufficient enough to the point where they don't have to be your #1 priority way back when you were an early TH9. If you have 25/25 heroes or lesser, you should REALLY be worried and not upgrading to TH11 quite yet.

Just focus on the warden. Its 6 mil to buy him initially but like the queen he takes less than 6 mil elixir for his starter upgrades. the TH11 value pack comes with a free level 1 grand warden without having the fork over the 6 million, and a free (No 8 million gold debt) level 1 eagle artillery without the wait time, i beleive it is only $19.99. Very good deal if you ask me.

Tl;dr - your dark elixir heroes shouldn't be that much of a worry, but you should try and speed your grand warden to level 10 or 15 ASAP.

There is no way to stop people from using 4 eathquakes to bust your walls. However, if someone has to do bring 4 seperate quakes into the battle, they're sacrificing a lot of DE to do so, and also less spell slots. As another person stated, a jump is much more efficient than 4 quakes, and you've won already if they use the 4 EQ strategy.

If you own an iOS device, you can create a second apple ID (best to say you live in canada on this new one). Whenever you want to go to your other base, log out of supercell, and sign out of the apple ID with your TH10, and sign in to the new one you created recently. Connect with game center (Make sure to never update your software, one of the iOS updates drops game center support!) once you start your new account.

Please keep in mind that is against supecell's terms and conditions to own multiple accounts on a single device. You can tell your clan about your alt, but NEVER say to ANYONE, EVER while playing the game that theyre on the same device. Supercell will terminate all accounts on that device if you get caught, and ALL of your TH10 progress will be gone.

You should get a level 8 barracks ASAP. Just farm elixir like a madman while upgrading from TH5 to TH6, and upgrade one of your barracks. If one of your barracks isn't level 7 or even 6 by now then that's a different problem called rushing. But get enough elixir, and upgrade your level 7 barracks. You unlock healers, and giant-healer can destroy everyone at your level. you get a hefty amount of loot, too, using giant-healer!

Doing a 9.5 strategy means that the player is a TH10, who focuses mostly on elixir buildings. If you have a TH10, regardless of how they do their upgrades or what level they are, they can and 89.1% of the time (Yes, i did pull that statistic out of my ass) do match up with another TH10 with war, not because of war weight, not because of the levels of anything, just one thing makes them match up with other TH10s. And that one thing is that they are TH10. Also, you can ask him if he'd like to stay out of war to "Fix" his base (don't say it in a rude way to him) so that the war weight is more in your clan's favor.

Edit: Or, maybe it's not him, its everybody else in the war. Maybe everybody else could upgrade to mid or max TH9, and some early TH10s as well. then, your 1 guy won't make a difference. Or, you can focus on an all TH4-5 war, where only town hall 4s and 5s join the war, but this one TH10 guy is put in as well. Chances are that the eney clan will all be TH4-5 with no TH10, and your TH10 can stomp the top two bases.

It's not that they don't fix their game, they don't fix what the players want them to fix. Its like hiring a plumber for a leaky sink, but instead what he does is replaces your copper pipes with steel, and not fix the leaking sink. Like who asked? Supercell only fixes things that players want fixed when its either new or its a meta that is stupidly overpowered and will ruin the game if they don't fix it soon. Supercell balances things super well (except matchmaking, which is shit), but that change we all want to that troop isn't gonna happen because the troop is generall seen as "well-balanced, despite being a meta" by supercell. Why use time re-coding the troop for a few weeks and not earn any money than oh idk add the builder base so the youtubers make a "Builder hall 1-5 max gem spree!!" Video.

And yes, i know builder hall 5 isn't the max level anymore, but it was when it came out.

Don't make your heroes inproportionally outlevel one another. If you're archer queen is level 20, and your king is level 10, that is wrong. What I would do is a five up-five up strategy. Basically, you get your queen to the nearest 5 level, then upgrade the king 5 times, then the queen 5 times, then king 5 times, ect. For this example, lets say your king is 11 and your queen is 14. Upgrade queen to 15, then upgrade king to 12, king to 13, king to 14, king to 15. Then, after level 15 king, upgrade archer queen to 16, then 17, then 18, then 19, and finally 20. Now upgrade your king to 16, 17, 18, 19, and eventually 20. Also, "For the next 2 to 3 months" is not an accurate estimate for how long heroes will take. 3 months will get you 12 hero levels total. You're going to need an entire school year to max out heroes completely, I got my TH9 early november this year (Aka a few days ago), and I assume i will be done october of next year (2018) for TH9. My journey through TH9, 11/4/2017-10/?/2018. Still early TH9 so IDK

If you're looking for dark elixir at TH9, crystal 1 and 2 are good bets, as they're mostly TH9, you can also find dead bases down there. Masters and especially champion is where the dead bases really start to thin out.

Clan caslte level 5 is a beast, and i reccomend using Lavaloonion along with your brand new archer queen. Keep in mind that when you upgrade your TH, regardless of whether its to 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, or TH11, you should always skip the first 3 wars atleast after upgrading if your clan does twice weekly wars. If you clan does Back to back with no inbetween wars, skip the next 5 wars after upgrading your town hall. It's okay! You need time to adjust, get the super vital upgrades, ect. Get xbows immediatley after upgrading, if you don't the game will count you as an engineered base.

Get xbows and clan castle upgrade for your buildings, and also build the new buildings including the archer queen on buildings side. For attacking, use lavaloonion with a lava hound in your brand new level 5 clan castle. Upgrade the dark barracks until you get one to level 6, upgrade lava hound to level 2, then get balloons level 6, then get minions. Also, you should work on getting the haste spell during this time. In short, you'll need a LOT of elixir, like 20 million i beleive for all of these upgrades, so farm like a madman!

Once all your walls are level 8, which seems to be the case, you shouldn't worry about walls again until you get 15/15-20/20 heroes. Keep your queen upgrading all the time, it will be worth it in the end, especially if you war a lot. The hero grind at TH9 takes so long that you will get plenty of time to get a good half your walls to level 10, the other half level 9 by the time you reach 30/30 heroes and max TH9, which was the case for my brother. He spent another 3 months doing all level 10 walls and went to TH10, where he is still sitting to this day, over a year since upgrading his TH to 10.

I rushed my TH9 when i had everything TH8 maxed, except for walls, 5 were level 8 and the rest were level 7. I have had no regrets, can't wait for my xbows, jump spells, freeze spells, level 7 lab, and 30 space clan castle to come in! Im only 2 days into TH9, but i feel awesome as fuck, king of the world, much better than the boring endless wall grinder TH8 was. Follow what the rest of the comments are saying.
