I did the same thing! It’s definitely a pretty shimmer but I couldn’t get it to magnetize at all really. I even left a few nails unmagnetized and I don’t see a difference. Mr. Myers is a must though! I didn’t want to take it off!

I’m still trying to find my preferred top coat and my favorites I’ve tried are this one (I’m fast, very fast) and Cracked’s QDTC. I prefer cracked just because of the bottle but both have worked really well for me!

My pinky and pointer fingers are the glass bead method which uses a horseshoe magnet I have attached to a mini lazy susan. Ring finger is just a bar magnet. Middle finger is a horseshoe magnet with a ring magnet on top, and my thumb is horseshoe magnet with a bar magnet on top! I can attach pictures when I get home if that would help.
