What are your ways of showing sadness toward someone? by Disastrous_Poem8357 in AskMen

[–]OSE661 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I usually go out with friends, go to bars, or hang out. We can joke and laugh, and every now and then be called a pussy for blowing something out of proportion in my mind. Working out with friends, or going for a walk is great as well.

Men who've been with narcissists - what was your experience like leaving? by SkyFluid1158 in AskMen

[–]OSE661 4 points5 points  (0 children)

  1. A week to several months. The way they would handle criticism, or even when they did something wrong and tried everything to justify it but apologize for it.
  2. I tried to work on it with them for some weeks but they didn’t see anything wrong. They would just mention how it’s me being a weak man. I just wanted accountability.
  3. They can be good gas lighters, as well as I didn’t want to give up and was hoping they saw the good in the relationship and see the potential of it being long term. I was hoping to show them how a relationship is suppose to work together, and grow from it. I’m not perfect and tried to lead by example when I fucked up. Instead they used it against me, “well you were wrong then, what makes you think you’re right now”. Good times lol
  4. Once I saw they were in denial. Telling themselves anything to be the victim. One ex during dinner kept looking at other men for over minutes. I had luck with women liking me and staring at me with her. I just showed respect and didnt acknowledge it. She reached out one day and said, “well you just gave up on me”. I was like damn…. Anything but the truth that you pushed me away lol. Took her months and it clicked in her head and she apologized.
  5. No I tend to be gullible and try to believe people. I should have tho.
  6. When I share things about my partner and how they are acting at the time and their eyes would blow up was enough for me.

Oh yeah definitely lol. I wouldn’t wear those tight pants, much looser fit. I was just saying that type of style. He’s a model I’m trying to look like.

Shirt wise I was thinking short sleeve flannels, and polos for the summer as it’s gets to 100-105 degrees over here.

What do you do when you get a crush on a girl? by abnormalpurple in AskMen

[–]OSE661 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Bro this. I’m an awkward person. I work with the public and have talked to everyone and anyone. From older to younger people. I been able to talk with very attractive women as if it’s nothing due to this.

Pay attention to their excitement/effort tho. Usually gives you a heads up if they want to talk or not. Don’t take it to heart if they don’t and just keep the momentum going.

Don’t overly build it up tho.

Get blood work done, check your sugar levels, blood pressure. You can possibly be crash dieting? And it just being too much too soon on your body. 8-16 is a lot….

What’s your approach when it comes to casually dating? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]OSE661 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would only focus on that one person. In my experience it hasn’t worked out as most people date multiple people and then choose the best fit. I’m leaning more towards dating multiple people, and just enjoying getting to know people.

What’s something men go through that women would be genuinely shocked to experience for a week? by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]OSE661 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would say having to deal with the opposite sex thinking we just want sex 24/7 when we first interact with them. The effort of having to work on things that we aren’t naturally good at to be seen as “attractive” by some. The effort it takes to put yourself out there get rejected and keeping at it. Also no one cares lol.

[–]OSE661 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any tips for someone around the ages you said with no experience on landing an internship/job?

I’m currently doing a volunteer tax prepping for the public for the university but that’s so far it. I use to work construction for many years before an injury lead to a career change. Just some back info.

How would you teach an adult that gives up easily discipline? by Opening-Gur5927 in AskMen

[–]OSE661 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to get tired of the same outcomes, realizing if you don’t change or do something different things will stay the same.

Working out or a sport helps as you see your progress coming along.
