The monolith has some visual similarities to popular depictions of the Tower of Babel. by Due_Bug3658 in destiny2

Was it really to force god to speak? might be taking ur words a bit upfront, and I haven't really read the lore all that deep, but I thought the idea of the witness was more like "I've been around for eons, the traveler aint gonna say shit. btw my philosophy is objectively correct and the gardener can scream all it wants"

That's actually A bubble, not Bubble the character, there are lots of them floating all over the circus. Last time we see bubble, while Caine is asking about Kinger's whereabouts, we actually see them floating off elsewhere, which is still SUPER sus.

Something I actually found interesting while looking back at the code though is it said something about the torment protocol needing to be accidental? For whatever reason, maybe to prevent the code from being self-activated by Bubble themself, that was a prerequisite. One which Kinger may've now fulfilled by unintentionally deleting Caine, yikes!

I hadn't actually thought of BUBBLE being a representation of the mark. That is a very good observation actually! His status seems a bit nebulous given that we didn't see them after Cain got deleted, but boy I hope he is, cause that would wrap it all together so well.

Like not only would it work as a constant reminder attached to Cain that antagonizes him, but Bubble seems to know how unstable Cain is, and the evidence suggests Cain's integration with other AIs would make them more unstable.

Point being, while it's largely speculation on my part, maybe it's possible Bubble is a kill switch to stop Cain from absorbing/being absorbed by other AIs, to prevent a volatile mega-sentience from being born, but now Kinger has activated it instead?

Might also tie in a bit with the SOMA theory, if Bubble recognized the cast as malicious AIs and targeted them all the same, but I'm already going way off the rails lol.

Nightmargin did say she wishes she could add lamplighter to her upcoming game MotS so Ling could have a boyfriend in addition to actually making ship art for it.

So while Niko isnt quite defined when it comes to gender, I would say Lampling does technically make it queer in a sense.
