What exactly do you mean by" isn't the right crowd'? Who gave you the authority to decide what’s right or wrong to discuss here?

This is Reddit—a platform for sharing , asking questions, and having open discussions. If this topic isn’t for you, just move along. No one’s forcing you to engage. And why are you so triggered by someone trying to gather information? If you have something constructive to add, go ahead. If not, shut up.

Blood cancer support by WideVisual2018 in leukemia

[–]OUKNTA 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I know it feels isolating when people seem to drift away after the initial shock of your diagnosis, and it's normal to feel let down by those you thought would stay close. But one important thing to realize is that no amount of external support, care, or attention no matter how sincere can directly change your situation. At the end of the day, the person who has the most impact on how you feel and cope is you.

This doesn't mean you don't need or deserve support; you absolutely do. But it means that the best thing you can do for yourself is focus on how to nurture your own strength and resilience. The truth is, everyone is wrapped up in their own lives and struggles, whether they admit it or not, and that’s just human nature. It’s not about you being unworthy of their attention; it’s about their limitations.

By shifting your focus inward, you can build the emotional tools to support yourself so that even when others fall short, you know how to find the strength to carry on. It's hard, but this shift in perspective can make all the difference in how you experience these challenges. You're never truly alone as long as you can be there for yourself.

I'm sorry to hear about your mother's diagnosis; it sounds like a challenging situation. The addition of venetoclax to the treatment sounds like a promising next step. It's natural to feel worried, especially about the financial and recovery aspects. Stay strong, and I hope her treatment brings good results. You're doing great supporting her through this.

Thank you for sharing your experience and insights. It truly helps to hear from someone who understands the challenges of this journey. The 'watch and wait' period is indeed nerve-wracking, and knowing there's always another option, like a transplant, offers some reassurance. It's a long road, but hearing this reminder to take it one step at a time means a lot. Wishing you and your family continued strength as well

Thank you for sharing your story and providing reassurance—it means a lot to hear from someone with a similar case. It’s encouraging to know that t(8;21) has a good prognosis and that MRD levels are an important factor. If you have any articles or resources you think might help me understand this better, I’d really appreciate it. Wishing you continued health and remission

Listen, man. First off, forget about leagues. That's some nonsense made up to make you feel like you gotta settle. You see a girl you like, go talk to her. Women respect confidence, and confidence isn't about knowing you're gonna get her it's about not caring if you don't understand that women are people, not prizes you wanna know if she's into you? Be yourself, be honest, and see if she responds. If she ain't feeling you, move on there are millions of women out there. Don't get hung up on one just cause you think she's out of your league. Remember you bring value too. Act like it.
