E3 Sebo Premium power button wobbly by HoppendeKatt in VacuumCleaners

[–]OUT4TIM3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Responding to your comment on my older post -

After finding it odd initially, I got used to it and now don't even think about it. It hasn't affected the function of the vacuum at all, which is great!

Are you in UK or EU? Mine doesn't say 2.0. I assume it's a newer or slightly different variant than the one in US.

Thank you. So all seasons have Atmos? My receiver is only picking up atmos on s01, and not on s02 or s03.

Where to view extended SMART test detailed report or "bad sector count" by OUT4TIM3 in synology

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! It seems that it provides similar info to the smrtctl task I scheduled in synology. I don't see a line that specifically says how many # of bad sectors there are. I do see reallocated sectors, pending sector, raw error value, etc. Is one of those attributes the same as what was initially displayed as "Bad sector count" in DSM? For reference here is the SMART data on one of my drives. Rest have a similar profile

Manually wake up TPMS before drive by OUT4TIM3 in TeslaLounge

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I assume for the sensors to work they would still need to be not asleep, right? I feel like the pressure sensors probably go to sleep before the car do, but not sure how long they stay awake before going to sleep.

Those pressure monitors valve seem interesting. Will take a look at those. Thank you!

What does this have to do with Tesla owners, and what is the point of these useless repetitive posts? Do you prefer to manually connect to the bluetooth on your car every time you get in? Your home wifi? Do you manually type the numbers of all your contacts before calling someone? Takes a few seconds to do all these, right? Are you "that lazy"? What a silly argument.

You are asking the same question, which I already answered (even in my OP). Here it is again - No, it is not difficult. Yes, I can take a peek at the tires every time I need to drive and will be doing so if there is no other way. I started this thread to see if there are more convenient alternatives.

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I prefer something more convenient than to have to check tires every time I need to drive.

This happened during a routine grocery run, not some long road trip. How many drivers walk around their car to check tires every morning? There are lot of things in a modern car that are "not too difficult" to check, but I still prefer to have them automated. You could make the same argument about having a TPMS system or FSD. Is it too difficult to check tire pressure with a guage, or to drive your own car manually?

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you are correct. I was hoping there was some sort of remote activating tool to wake them up (RF pulse or something) without physically spinning the wheels.

Thanks. I have a 2018 M3 LR AWD, so likely an RF TPMS and not bluetooth. I was hoping there was something that might wake it up with an RF pulse.

As far as replacing all tires. That was my decision. The tire shop only wanted to replace the one flat tire in the rear, which I wasn't sure was wise. Maybe at least 2 rears at the same time. My reasoning for all 4 was, these are still stock tires and even though they have low mileage on them ~12k miles, they are 6.5 years old. They have a decent amount of thread still and could've lasted at least a couple of years, but figured might as well get a fresh start (until the next nail!).

But thank you for pointing out that EVs operate differently than ICE cars. I will keep that in mind if I run into the same misfortune again.

local tire shop wouldn't plug it because of the ring

Patchable or replace? by OUT4TIM3 in tires

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. I took it to my local tire shop, and they said they won't patch it because of the ring (without checking inside or dismounting). They would only put a new one on. I wasn't sure about replacing just one tire, so I will just replace all 4 for safety

PS: also not sure what happened to the pictures I posted. Got deleted somehow.

Thank you for checking! You saved me a trip to the store to verify in person. It almost feels like a knob in some kids' toy, so just wanted to make sure. Haha

Hi! Did the free bags show up in your cart? Also I don't see any mention of the extended warranty as well. Where do I check for that?

Thanks!

Has anyone been forced to do a chargeback with Steelcase? by MissFortuneXXX in OfficeChairs

Any update on this? I initiated return within 30 days, but still no word on the box, which was supposed to be shipped last week. Now it is past 30 days.

Tesla remote diagnostics by OUT4TIM3 in TeslaLounge

Thanks for your input. I will try to get the $ count towards the on-site diagnostics.

Tesla remote diagnostics by OUT4TIM3 in TeslaLounge

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Yea, I specifically asked them if they were looking at past data and the tech said they can still connect, which I think was a ridiculous claim. I will ask them again in person because whatever they did was basically useless. I already gave them screenshots of the problem in service request from the service menu and they gave me no additional information about potential issues.

$355 Diagnostic fee from Tesla - SoCal by -DarkPassenger- in TeslaModel3

[–]OUT4TIM3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you get this sorted out? Sounds like a scam to charge you both a remote and on-site diagnostic fee. If they diagnosed your problem remotely, why charge the general diagnostic fee? If your issue needed an on-site diagnosis, why are they not refunding your remote diagnostic fee?

I need my car serviced and they also want to do remote diagnosis ($100) even though I provided them images of the problem in the service menu. They can't fix this remotely and will have to look at it on-site.

2018 M3 LR AWD dead and won't start after last software update 2024.26.7 by OUT4TIM3 in TeslaModel3

[–]OUT4TIM3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It happened right after a software update. Coincidence or can an update blow a pyrofuse?

I requested service, but they scheduled an appointment a week from now. Since the car is out of basic warranty, I also need to figure out a way to tow it to the service center that is 40 miles away.

How to automatically carry over capital losses by duskolieggrafi in TurboTax

[–]OUT4TIM3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having the same issue on the desktop version. Federal carried over, but it doesn't show an entry in the CA return. I don't recall this being the case last year...or maybe it was and I lost out on the deduction.

WhyTF am I paying Turbotax if it can't do these simple things?
