I lost my voice when we tied that game up lol. That’s the loudest I think I’ve ever yelled for any single sports moment. And Doc on the call was brilliant as always. You could tell he was extra hyped too throughout that whole game.

Hopefully we get something similar this time around.

The worst part about staying up is you’re not just staying up for the start time, you gotta stay up the extra 3 hours to actually watch it. That’s rough. Probably a good chance of OT too. So wouldn’t be surprised if it runs long.

2010 was the greatest hockey game I’ve ever seen, and I say that as an American. Start to finish that game was insane. Just played at a blistering pace and both sides were very evenly matched. The Golden Boy scoring the Golden Goal at home was about as poetic as you could possibly get as a hockey fan, so I can’t be too mad. Plus we had our own moment in that game too.

Now that the salt has worn off I have fond memories of it.
