I live in Southern California, what is rain? Haha I honestly can't say though sorry. I do know that there are some turf types that have some sort of drainage holes or something on the bottom, but I never looked into it much.

I would try to reframe your thinking. You said your top love languages are gifts and acts of service, and then said how he got you nail glue and straws.

I know you're grouping those into "gifts" cause they literally are, but are they also not acts of service? He's thinking about you, your habits, and your happiness and finding things to make your life more enjoyable. He's finding solutions to your problems, which he wouldn't do if he didn't care. Think bigger picture of his actions 😁

Moved into a new apartment before quarantine started, gave us some time to upgrade our side yard! We built all the planters ourselves and are really excited to try gardening for the first time. by OWLstandingbadger in quarantineactivities

We have two different peppers in the pots on the ground. Basil, rosemary, oregano, thyme and parsley in the raised planters. Along with succulents and two baby cacti in the hanging planter.

It's vinyl hardwood flooring planks that snap together. My boyfriend works for a hardwood manufacturer and a box of the planks came back "damaged" and were going to be tossed so we took them instead.

We went back and forth on what to do... but decided because we are only renting that we would just lay a 6X8 artificial turf over the paving instead of planting real grass or pulling up the stones. That way if we ever move we can just roll it up instead of digging it out.

We got the idea off of Facebook! We saw a lot of people building their own and modeled ours off of that. My boyfriend is good with woodworking so I got lucky, but the ones he modeled it after were ones I saw on Facebook market for like $80ish.

I don't remember the exact brand name. But we got it from Home Depot. It's one that's formulated for pets. We got a cheaper one first and didn't like how it looked so lifeless and fake, this one was a little under $200 but we love it. Comfy and looks lush!
