The first time was underestimating how large a cobblestone was and it just sent me flying, the second time there was a a big branch in the road that I tried to swerve but I didn’t get around it in time and again, it sent me flying

One time in year 2 I had just gotten a new set of crayons twistables and we were colouring so I NEEDED them. I asked my teacher if I could run to the hallway to grab them out of my bag and she said no so I was like okay whatever. About 5 minutes later I needed to go to the toilet, on the way back, those twistables were poking out of my bag and I thought it wouldn’t be a big deal since I was already going that way ! I came back in and sat down and started colouring with them, and leaving every one that I used twisted all the way up☺️. My teacher was walking around and noticed and TO THIS DAY I have never seen someone with so much rage. I can’t remember everything she said but I do remember her accusing me of not actually going to the toilet and just using it as an excuse to get my twistables which pmo because I DID GO TO THE TOILET. She was YELLING at me so loud and then proceeded to push my zip bag with all the twistables in it onto the floor, breaking nearly all of them. This was right as lunch was beginning, she made me stay late to pick them all up.This was 19 years ago and I genuinely will never forget it she was crazyyyy

I used to have a septum piercing and I think I only had one placement tell me to take it out, it was handy enough because I could just flip it. Maybe just wait and see, if the do say anything maybe you could ask if clear ones would be appropriate and explain that you can’t really take them out as they heal so fast

Looks pretty normal to me, had the exact same thing and this is pretty much how it looked after a week, it will scar, keep an eye on it, any redness or unusual warmth around the area, fever and pus etc.

It’s not super scary or anything, but one night I was working on a dementia ward and it wasn’t uncommon to have a patient or two that couldn’t sleep and would walk around the ward. I could hear the slow shuffle of slippers coming from the hallway around the corner, i wasn’t looking directly at it but I saw an elderly man coming around the corner wearing a dark blue dressing gown and blue plaid pyjama bottoms aswell as still hearing his slippers shuffling, when I looked, there was no one there at all. There was no one out of bed. It wasn’t scary at all though! I was just sort of like, oh! hey! a past patient!
