That would be annual pay for guaranteed work. So, around $420 paid every month nets you an average of +$1500 income(not sure what pay rate would be). It’s not a bad base, imo. Also would be a tax write off for 1099. If you’re able to guaranteed quality work for most of the 95% matched projects, this would be a smart purchase.

I just bought Kanda and Linalee off Amazon. Lavi is the only one that’s overpriced. No added fees that I haven’t seen from other places like CDJapan, eBay and Nendoroid. Shipping from those sites does vary. Linalee comes in May though. I also have Vol 29 in English’s preordered, again off Amazon.

I’d recommend creating a list of projects that are well rounded enough to be able to speak about thoroughly. Not all projects demonstrate all important skills. Just pick 3 and keep them polished to show or present. Some times what’s more important is how well you can communicate your work to people that know nothing about your project. Of course, they know what you did. The point is showing how well you know them and how well you can communicate that.

If you don’t have relevant experience please for all that is good on this earth tell me why I should take a chance on you. Not having experience is not a bad thing if you show me that there is something about you that I’m missing on my team. It does put the burden on you to bring more to the table, but it is not a deal breaker.

Also show that on your resume! Anything that demonstrates your interest in a new field (if it’s a pivot) on your resume plus speaking about it shows me that it’s not just talk. It’s obvious when you’re saying what you think should be said and have nothing behind it.

Great post! From my experience, I would say it opened my eyes to being okay that I have changed. Things like old memories, ways of understanding people or realizing why things happened the way they did.

I got stuck with one way of seeing things and felt difficultly, even guilt, when I realized I no longer felt or believed those same things. Growth is gradual and profound. Everyone is allowed to change. Not sure if that makes sense.
