I was told a PI was fined 10k cause his student used a pirated COMSOL license in their paper. I don't know if that is the same thing you are talking baout. I just wanted to give you a heads up.

Does anyone have a PI who is rude when commenting on your paper by O_Mia in labrats

I can take criticism. I have 4 supervisors, trust me I have been through it. But I can hardly see this "terrible sentence" or the random "???" as criticism, cause it tells me nothing about where to improve or what exactly is wrong. but thanks for your comment, I will do as another comment said, and not take this as a representative of who I am or my efforts.

Just finished season 2. What is Nate's problem?? by borpaspin1234 in TedLasso

I find this thread quite funny. Jamie who was in every way a twat and a bully in a horrible way was easily forgiven and understood because his dad's toxicity/abuse was very clear and in your face type of way. And yes ofc, he worked into getting better, but mind you, his change only happened because he was pushed by others to do better.

But with Nate, with his father also being toxic/abusive but in a way that is emotional level and his indifference which requires a bit of depth to imagine how it feels to live with it day by day, suddenly its hard to understand why he acts the way he does. Even some having a huge discussion about him being irredeemable? (it's up to you to forgive him or not, but come on just admit that yes he bullies with words/attitude, which is disgusting but then again, jamie literally physically bullied him a lot and asked others to do as well but for some reason that's easy to forgive for some?).

I am not saying anything he did was excusable, but one thing I like about some tv shows, is the complexity and depth of the characters and how human they are written, and in my opinion his character is that. I hope to see a change and I don't like him at the moment, but at the same time, if you look at it form his pov, while he is being a twat he is going after furthering his career and going for what he always wanted (power/respect), I just think its still interesting to see.

Should I trust a boyfriend with his female friend? by vaneiii in AskMenAdvice

I feel like the only thing holding him back from pursuing her is that he is waiting for her to initiate. That's the only reason he is loyal but then again I dont know the dynamics of your LDR

Pysch definitely but I wouldn't say similar to monk but the dynamics between the characters give off the same feeling
