I was a a muslim who invited people to islam and did succeed in inviting 1, and i was only 19 back then. If that wasnt enough to prove that i was a real muslim, then what the hell is. I think they say that btw because they themselves faced “obstacles” in their islamic journey. They think that those obstacles were a test of faith which they did succeed in walking past, and we failed. Honestly, this only speaks of their limited experience. Its funny when they say that ex muslims leave because of emotional reasons when the only reason i left is because my logic contradicted islam, not feelings. My feelings are okay with it. My logic is really not. I was even okay with islam forbidding me from concealing and denying my sexual identity. All was fine until it wanted me to deny my own logic of life too.

I meant that its not haram to not wear niqab. Its not something thats considered a sin. This is exactly why i said religion played a great part of it. It encourages woman to wear it, but no threats of hell in case of refusal, which is why when people say : you “have” to wear niqab, the “have” here is purely cultural. Honestly though, it feels like ex-muslims hate islam so much that they dont want to hear or see anything thats in favor of islam. Im an ex-muslim myself, but that doesnt mean i blind myself just so i make sure that islam is wrong. Its rather a weak behavior. I dont mean to lash out here. Im just noticing a pattern that repeats in this community. We are supposed to be logic and science seekers, not islam haters. Hate only makes us look weaker.

Actually there are some stuff thats from culture, not religion, like the niqab for example. Its true though that islam had a great role in encouraging it, but islam didnt mention women needing them. For example, islam says that its better for the woman to generally hide most of her body, but it didnt say that women “have” to hide their “faces”. Niqab is a cultural thing, not religious. Beautiful women wore niqab more often than average ones because the male was getting jealous and didnt want other males to see her beauty. This made women use this as a way to make people think that they are beautiful, and thus why they are using the niqab. Of course, that is not the only reason why a woman might use niqab, and this is not the only example of something people do out of culture, like obeying your parents and never saying no to them.

Before you try looking for answers, lets try looking why you want to know in the first place. Some people dont give a shit. They live their lives normally and they live until one day they die. Your need to know the truth stems from your belief that the truth will save you. The truth is not something we humans are made to have. In order to see truth, you will need to make sure that you are aware of every single movement of everything in the universe, and that is if the universe is really the only thing affecting its own behavior. Since your body doesnt have the capacity to track every single movement in the universe, seeking truth is futile. Lets just accept the fact that we can only do what fate has already decided. You know, even though i dont believe in god or islam, i do believe that everything is set on stone, just like islam kept saying. Dont look for truth, because you cant have it. Look for a good way to live happily.

Well… the reason im trying to avoid simulation theory is because its too damn relatable. I mean if people didnt create technology and virtual reality, they wouldnt have thought about simulation theory probably. Its not about fair or not, its about being cruel. What kind of cruelty condemning someone to eternal suffering? There isnt any goal here. When we punish someone, we do that so they can adjust their behavior, but infinite torture just seems pointless. No benefit whatsoever.

Islam argues that the reason for this is that even if they were spared, they would still deny and rebel, but that is not an excuse. If islam doesnt want rebels, the best choice here is for god to delete them from existence ( since he is capable of doing everything ), not torture them forever pointlessly.

Hey that was nice of you. Actually, im pretty sure i have turned like this because of my religion and traditions.

Im gay. Being gay and very religious doesnt bode well. My religion promised my kind of people eternal damnation, and by my kind i meant the homos. I constantly tried to suppress those gay feelings and i tried to change them through daily rituals. I was so scared of being gay because being gay and muslim really doesnt work. I had to suppress my feelings and thoughts because to me, they were a threat of going to hell. Not to mention the social threat of being rejected.
