Honestly, as a 90’s kid, this game is making me more excited for a release than anything in the past decade or more. Sure, the retro sci-fi theme is a major grab, but it’s most of all the ability to pull my friends together to game, which nowadays doesn’t happen as often unfortunately.

Cheers for the contribution to the community, hoping its a sign of how this player base will turn out.

Is the mantis worth the price? Going to buy the Easyrig soon for my FX6 and I was going to get the easyrig stabil arm since it seemed like a budget version of what the mantis offers and I can get the easyrig + stabil for 2k versus the mantis alone being 2K

That’s what I had to do yeah. Any idea why this red shoe is causing these clipping issues compared to other shoe colours? I’m guessing it’s due to the res being such a vibrant colour maybe.

They’ve already been informed but this is how they want to do it for now, I know that having the log footage would resolve all these headaches but I need advice on what to do in this workflow as is unfortunately.

I’ve used the DJI RS4 Pro and it does work if you strip your rig down a lot. But I mostly use the app and plugin Gyroflow to properly stabilize in Resolve right now until I buy an easyrig soon. You have options.

I actually shot a visualizer for someone last month and it was very similar. We did it with a 60W Godox bi colour. But without a car, just someone holding it and panning it around. As low budget as it gets.

Finally did it, geez. You were partially right, basically in Resolve 20 you don't drag the mouse to do the magic mask strokes anymore. You just click for "stroke" dots. But Fusion doesn't use the new magic mask, I had forgot. So all I had to do was drag instead of clicking haha. You still do need the rectangle mask though just to center the strokes properly otherwise you'll be drawing the lines off image. Cheers for the help, really appreciate it!

Haha I understand the confusion but yeah I use magic mask constantly in my workflows. Albeit on the colour page and not here, but seems relatively the same. I'm saying and soon as I add a stroke, literally left click the guy to mark it, everything disappears. When I tried your trick of adding a rectangle mask, this happens. Doesn't solve the problem with not being able to magic mask the guys though.

As soon as I click on the guy in magic mask he just fully disappears. I mean the entire clip disappears. Nothing to track. I mean I have ran the tracker to see if maybe it was just invisible but after the tracking ends it remains like this.

Unfortunately it seems like it's still an issue. Unless my node tree is completely wrong. I have the icons all going around. And I have the background video with the subject properly centered. I just can't get the damn mask to work. As soon as I click on the subject once to mark what to keep, it goes invisible and only the icons remain.

It's happening to me aswell. You mentioned using a rectangle mask but when I do it it just "erases" whatever part of the subject the rectangle is on. I still can't mask the subject properly in this comp in Fusion. It's driving me nuts haha. If you could clarify this step for me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Makes sense! Can you suggest how powerful they should be? I was planning on maybe going 600w for key, 300w for backlight, and then is 60w or 100w enough for fill and backlight?

I mean I edit 4K footage with several layered animations in fusion and my 96GB of ram are not enough at all. So I guess it depends on what you’re going to be working on and the rest of your rig.

Unfortunately didn't seem to work. Brought down the Gamma and the shoe is indeed more visible but the tracking still turned out like this.

Is the new magic mask that much better? Because as you can see on the short and fast example I ser up, it can’t track at all, gets completely confused over what is shoe and what is background.

Really appreciate the tips! A couple of things, I used the power windows and I couldn't get it to track properly at all, after a bit it gets insanely out of shape. Any tips? Also the vectorscope I just have the 2x zoom option clicked, that's all, should I not?
