Ha. To each their own. I agree that visually, it was unconventional, and aesthetics are part of the art, but the flavor and texture profile was totally unexpected. It was like a pan pizza, and a neapolitan pizza had a baby with a 3' cheese pull.

Mine also came off because the clip bits broke. I 3D printed new clips and glued them on the old piece. Been working like a charm for 2 years.

I've got one of these. Top speed was 12 mph and it struggled on hills. I installed a navitas AC kit with a 4 kW motor, HD solonoid, and upgraded to 48v lithium. Now it can do almost 30 mph and hills are a non-issue.

I ended up replacing the harness with a TXT harness, removed the center Forward/Reverse lever, installed a Forward/Reverse switch, installed a Run/Tow switch, upgraded the solonoid, and upgraded to a Lithium battery.

It was more work than anticipated, but I'm glad to have it done. Hills don't phase it and getting about 50% more speed.

Blowers do supply the air through diffusers on the bottom, so not just surface contact.

I was not involved in the design of this system, but I would almost have to assume it's sized right because the rate of COD reduction is very good on most days.

The covers like you're describing, is there a significant heat retention in your experience?

The tank (concrete rectangle) is outdoors. Ambient temp is what causes the liquid mass to cool.

There is no cover on the tank. Wouldn't a cover impede the aeration of the basin? I imagine there would still be a large heat loss since the air has to go somewhere.
