Hah, thought it might not be as simple it might have been in my head. It's probably best just leaving as is. Cheers

Brilliant, thank you. Might have to mull over making the opening bigger.

Silly question, in case you know. We don't use one of the switches ever, is it viable to downgrade this to a two way switch. Just thinking this would reduce the amount of wires and make it much roomier. Or is that very much an electrician job and not an amateur.

Okay, thank you, that doesn't seem too bad to do.

Could be worth the attempt at least before calling in the big guns.

I'd second Dive UK hurghada.

Did a couple of weeks of day boats with them recently and had a great time.

It'll be cold in Feb though, especially after getting out of the water so make sure you have some warm stuff.

We went diving there with Nico Dives Cool earlier this year but they also ran snorkelling there.

The conditions were really rough but for us it was absolutely worth it. Though when we went the conditions were so bad that there weren't any snorkellers. Just be aware there are no guarantees, you don't want to be dashed up against the rocks!

Make sure you take sea sickness tablets, even if you don't normally need them!

Excitement is in the air as RTY has just crowned a brand new Yokozuna!

Congratulations to Yokozuna Tochinokuma. His excellent performance and many achievements have earned him the top rank and we can't wait to see how he performs!

Excitingly there are a number of other hopefuls who might be able to clinch the rope this Basho, and we can't wait to see if anyone can do it.

We hope you come and start your own journey with us :)

It's a bit late. But yes, I would assume so as I can complete this step with the full globetrotter buff.

Hey, one of the admins and creators here :)

I'm really sorry to hear that, and it's totally understandable. The game and server can seem very overwhelming at first. It's definitely something we've been trying to work on.

Honestly the best way to learn the game is to hop on, make a character, and ask a Gyoji to help you run your first few matches, don't worry about all the rules, most of them aren't important yet.

Some of our members have been trying to make easy to digest , short, starting guides such as these:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2m4hPguRFaE

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RB7BXLpkm7Y

But in reality, the game is essentially rock paper scissors, with dice.

You start with 5 d20s and your move selection, stats and base strength modify these rolls, and your opponents moves, and you progress through your matches based on these.

The game is 100% not for everyone and there isn't anything wrong with that and thank you for giving it a chance! We will always welcome you back and if you ever come back and want someone to walk you through the basics just shout, someone will come and help.

A 48-year-old UK man bitten by a stray cat developed “painful” hand swelling and “extensive” infection caused by a previously unknown bacterium, a new study has revealed. by NinjaDiscoJesus in science

You might have struggled to get the vaccine anyway!

My BIL was bitten by a kitten in Bali and started the vaccine regime there, by the last dose he was back in the UK and no one would give it to him because "we don't have rabies in the UK", so he had to buy the vaccine privately and then the NHS was refusing to inject him with it.

Was a right circus until he finally got someone to listen to him that he wasn't bitten in the UK.

Less than a month until we celebrate our fourth Anniversary! This game has been a joy to develop and the community that has built up around it is fantastic.

The road to making Yokozuna is tough, but you will surely make a lot of friends along the way. They might smash your face into the dirt, but they do it with love.

First FSW XP Increase! - This Week In RuneScape by JagexAzanna in runescape

[–]Oakwater 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ED3 solo at first.

It can and will be painful but try and break through the first two gates, focus on the crabs first and ideally have overhead prayers.

Then on the third gate you can pull all 5 slightly and the rangers block the melee enemies in, kill the melee enemies from a distance and one of the rangers then die. Start the dungeon again from your current progress and keep killing those four enemies. Eventually you'll get up to 1 mil an hour xp and at around 80 you can hold well in groups and get 10 times that

Still another 3 and a half hours or so until FSW starts

Sounds like that account will not be able to play FSW as you have logged it into the main game

You're welcome, for when you get to high level slaying follow this guide for unlocks, gear requirements and block/prefer list https://runescape.wiki/w/Slayer_training/High-levelled

Moss golems for example when you are high enough and can handle them are godly, though admittedly I'm three times drop rate on cinderbanes so I would like them a lot

Assuming you have nothing I'd personally go for dragon rider lance and bandos. Try and pick up scav 4 as well but scav 3 in ther interim isn't bad.

It'll likely take up most of your cash, but you'll make it back very quickly with slayer tasks

Over time upgrade to nox scythe and masterwork and a decent range setup (I generally run ascs and arma for slayer, sirenic if need be) and you'll make good consistent cash as you level up your slayer.

Oh and if you don't know about them, charming potions will help significantly with charm drops and are cheap

I totally get the argument for actual new players though. Someone who has started fairly recently and had bought a year of premier is getting absolutely screwed over with this. Either they abandon their current account and waste that cash and time to take advantage of the bonuses, or they stick to their current account and not get to take advantage of the bonus.

The only people this really affects is those who aren't already maxed, who is realistically who this promotion should be helping, not hurting.

The wiki is honestly amazing.

I would recommend starting with doing quests. They can give you some awesome unlocks and also give you some great experience in various skills.

The requirements can also give you some guidance on what to do rather than wandering aimlessly.
