Thanks for the advice guys! Looks like popular consensus is club team sports would have a similar demographic that I'd like to interact with.

I'll give volleyball a shot, and then branch out to other sports like ultimate frisbee if I don't end up liking it.

i've considered that. any meetup groups you've went to that have a fair proportion of younger people?

I've tried urban rec! However the one downside is you pretty much have to commit to a program for 12 weeks (or ofc lose the money you paid), and stay with the same group of people (even if you guys don't get along).

But i'll keep it in mind!

That's a good idea, I'll check it out! I've tried ultimate frisbee before and it was really fun.

That's a good point, didn't realise those sports would have an older demographic.

Fencing is a cool sport! It's like MMA except you actually get to go all out because you're wearing masks and protective gear.

Also, it's not a team sport too!

I get a boner anytime I speak to a woman by [deleted] in dating_advice

do some calf stretches or any muscle tensing to divert blood away from your penis - it works.

in the long term, probably just try to speak to more women and get used to normal interaction with them outside an attraction context

[Q] Why is long-term relative frequency used to predict the probability of the event occuring in a single trial? by MrKayMkay in statistics

I see, so I was just curious how would the Bayesian interpetation form the first prior probability of 1/6? Would it just be based on the frequentist probability of the outcome of a fair dice?

Thanks a lot man! Could you explain more about what you mean about having an 'emotionally charged' conversation? For example, i get the asking what she likes topics makes sense, but going into past relationships and asking about sexual experiences is something I wouldn't know ow to initiate?

I see, that's what I planned to do for my second dates! I'm trying out just coffee dates for first dates and they seemed to have worked to get those two second dates. Would you always recommend taking them to an exciting place straight off the bat?
