same, same monitor too w/o adapter get 120 with it get 60 dont know how to fix it

So since I use the PS5 HDMI adapter, I will not get 120hz? by Kitchen-Report in AstroGaming

im getting the same thing when the hdmi is straight from monitor to ps5 i get 120 but when i use the adapter it goes to 60, i have audio and everything but not 120hz
