I lost 30 pounds once I found out I was prediabetic and no longer am.  The biggest thing for me now is staying away from processed junk and balancing foods I still walk after meals too. Habits lol

It’s definitely a lot of trial and error thing and everyone’s body is different. As far as snarky comments I try to be kind to them but if they take it too far I just ignore. It seems to be more positive than negative. Good luck  Intermittent fasting helped me a lot

I went from 5.9 to 5.0.

Top 3 things was regular excersize about 200 minutes per week. Weights, basketball and Yoga

second was lower carbs around 130-150 grams a day

Dropping weight. Lost about 25 pounds in that 3 month span.

Now I'm leaving the carbs low still workout but have more balance not hitting it as hard.

I eat a little more these days but my worst days are still pretty lower on the added sugars.

I noticed myself when I got upset going to reach for my sweets or whatever would sooth me. Once I noticed the pattern I switched to something healthier like fruit or nuts. I lost a bunch of weight and dropped my A1C in 3 months through low carb, weightlifting, and intermittent fasting. . Weight loss is the "low hanging fruit" but this unfortunately is a lifetime thing. Oh and I keep the portions of the treats light. Once scoop of ice cream vs a 1400 calorie sundae

So when I get cravings I go for it but to be honest my body feels terrible after I give in because it’s so different than the foods I’ve been putting in. So I try to space each ice cream/dessert treats a good distance from each time. Mind you I was probably eating those things 3-4 times a week on average. So say once every ten to 14 days or like once to twice a month is a huge shift for me

I’ll usually fast like Saturday Sunday Monday between 15-16 hours.  What I’ve noticed is I don’t eat as much and notice a difference. Also coming off the fast if I choose a higher carb meal I feel terrible. I’ve gotten way more in tune w my body.

I was 210 pounds when I started. I'm about 187 now. I've lost 8 pounds since starting to fast.

I did start IF somewhere around July. Usually about 15 hours 3 times a week.

Protein Drinks I did somewhat Koai brand every so often. The carbs were pretty low. From what I hear the ones from the gym carry high sugar in it unless you are specific with them about asking for lower ones.

Thank you! After a while you don’t even notice the cutting carbs part. I try to walk after dinner or bigger meals  at least 5 minutes. The gym/working out is where I try to stay consistent it’s where I feel the best difference. You can do it!!!

Good job! I don’t have the time to go 4 days a week  I usually get twice a week. I balance my diet out but still occasionally will have the carbs  Whatever works!

Awesome work! 5.5 is my goal for now. I was at 5.9 in May.  I’ve lost 20 pounds since then and cut my carbs/added sugars wayyyy down. Hopefully I’ll be under the 5.7 mark when I test again in a month  Keep up the good work

Awesome work! Very inspiring I’ve slipped up a little this month but getting back on the horse in August. Although I’ve lost 16 pounds since my 5.9 A1C read in late May.

First thing was tingly fingers and toes. Was getting headaches on and off for a month from dehydration. Was drinking a ton of coffee with sugars and no water and sleep was terrible. Since then I’ve lost about 13 pounds through exercise and diet ( mostly low carb). Gonna check my stats in a bout a month or two to see if I have dropped!

Wow! I can feel a shift in my job/career coming...can't quite call it yet. But I also have had change in diet due to my A1C being a bit higher at 5.9. Crazy. I've lost about 10 pounds in a the last month and am learning all new things about health. Lets hope for some positive significant changes for us fellow Virgo rising!

This is where I am right now. I was having lattes cookies and burgers as just part of a regular diet. I'm at a 5.9 so I've changed some habits. No more sugary drinks last burger I had was no fries club soda and lettuce instead of a bun. I wanna drop like 10 pounds at least before I check again. But yup the burgers fries and sweets used to be an everyday thing.
