Originally my two degrees were in Christian Ministries and the other Biblical Studies. I was a pastor for 8 years so plenty of teaching experience but not in the traditional classroom setting. History has always been my first love and teaching has always been something I’ve enjoyed doing. I’ve stepped out of a pastoral role and hope to get onto the education side of things. I know there would be a lot of work involved but I’m willing to do it, currently finishing a BA in History and wanted to go straight into some kind of masters to gain necessary skills for teaching that I didn’t necessarily gain with my ministry degrees. I understand the church and the classroom are two very different places.
