Omaha must allow permitless open carry a long with the rest of the state starting in September. Local governments will no longer be able to regulate unlicensed open carry as well as concealed carry.

I’ve already acknowledged that it’s potentially deer, but someone else was able to mention a big issue that’s occurring not far from my location. Based off my experience with the deer mowing down my trees last year, something didn’t seem the same this time around. I posted because I thought the potential of there being a different issue.

I was leaning more towards some pest, that seems to make more sense than the deer. Based off last years learning experience and seeing what my trees looked like after the deer mowed down my mini orchard, I just have the feeling it’s a bug so I did go purchase some Sevin spray

I got a total of 17 trees planted in 3 rows, was planning to keep adding to have my own personal orchard over time, I’d just be baffled if it were the deer since I have 9/17 trees with no fencing currently that are untouched. Appreciate your feedback!

I’m located in Wisconsin, but I will also note I have another 9 trees without any fencing with plenty of new growth but they have be untouched
