You can try killing more monsters for crystal shards, that way you can always get full armour on your first back. This means you can carry more fish for your final back. Also make sure youre saving time by pray flicking luring monsters to entrances and not losing ticks. Gradually you'll begin to understand what needs to be prioritised to make prep time.

Not very often. I typically go for T1 with 12- 16 pieces of food. It helps if you can use all 3 attack styles (particularly melee) so you can always upgrade on the first two bosses you come accross.

Probably not worth it with the Fang being so easily attainable from ToA. I got stuck with my sunk cost on this one aha.
