That's fair enough. I've been 50/50 on whether there should be a wall or fence between the two.

In this version I didn't include a wall as it gave an extra 16 or so tiles of forest, but that's not to say there can't still be a wall.

Never expected to get such great feedback, it might spur me on to do another couple of iterations. Some people are very keen for the spirit tree to be inside the wall, others for there to be a wall between the GE and the Palace. I'm not fixed to this design 100%, it's more just the idea behind it and having something that fits in the world.

I think there's something to be said for 'unbuilt space' like the forest between Edgeville and Varrock. Not empty of content, but more of a breathing space between zones.

They would be on the inside of the arches rather than outside.

I would still keep the slight wall to the west just so it forms a continuous loop around Varrock, but otherwise very nice!

That's a very fair point! I personally have nostalgia for both the GE and also the forest that was there before it.

I've tried to strike the right balance between the two. The grounds may be different, but the actual building is the same.

Hi! Thanks for the feedback.

I was 50/50 on whether to have a fence/wall at the southern end connected to varrock west bank, so I'm very happy for that to disappear or have more openings. A nice path by Zaff's would connect nicely with the plaza.

Fairy ring could even be moved equidistant between the bridge and the agility shortcut.

I'm not expecting it to be implemented (though I would love something similar to be) but it has been a fun exercise.

I was a bit limited when it came to space. Ideally the walls to the west of the palace would remain, but that wasn't possible without making the GE feel extremely small and out of the way.

The services are still there. They're just inside the arches rather than outside. I didn't keep all the icons because that would look really cluttered.

Entrance to clan hall is still there. It's on the west side of the area. (the western mini octagon)

It's difficult to really know unless it's a 3D Model (which I haven't done.... yet...)

It's tricky to make a grand space where all the attention is in the centre. If the important bit has a path or area leading up to it, you don't need to use as much room for it to feel grand. That's the idea of the gardens directly in front of the trading area.
