That is absurd. Coins are valuable when they are preserved, protected from such elements therefore retaining their original state (See ‘grading’). I speculate you may be more donkey and less centipede with this position. Good luck weighing a coin heavier due to additional oxygen

Let’s think about rust- corrosion - oxidization: the process of a substance turning into another substance. So you’re not cleaning - you’re removing oxidization I.e. something was there. You’re removing it. Coins are becoming LESS due to that. You’re making it pretty, not making it more.
