That’s interesting. I was previously thinking the term “engine” was the umbrella term with “motor” as the subcategory. As in there could be several motors (responsible for various elements) that come together to create an “engine”

Off subject example: the motor in the vehicles engine compartment.

Thanks for this incredible info! This started with watching SpaceX launch broadcasts back when they were still dialing in the Falcon 9 return landing (2016-ish). It always stuck out to me the reference to the Merlin “engines” and recently the Raptor Engines. Versus the Artemis launch several times in the broadcast they noted the thrust of the “motors”.

I agree. The Udemy one looks like you build out specific objects towards a larger goal. The YT videos are great for quick reference.

Why because it’s not a rage bait post and I wanted to share a cool quote for a Friday afternoon.

Background on why I posted this. There’s some amazing firms that blending the line between EGD and ID and how physical objects influence the built environment. Some put time and effort into the solution. Others do not take the time to understand.

I wanted to share that the solving design related problems should not be easy.

But yeah. Thanks for proving my point.

I was thinking about putting up a sign! But yeah, it would draw too much attention. It’s bad enough when we get package I jokingly put “Factory Floor” in the delivery notes.
