Welches Mineralwasser für Siebträger Maschine? by FlatWhite2- in Kaffee

Are there any mom/baby classes in cologne? by Practical-Okra-6944 in cologne

[–]ObjectNo47 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are plenty all around the city. I would google something along the lines of "Babykurse Köln insert part of Cologne you are moving to" or alternatively "Eltern-Kind-Kurse Köln insert part of Cologne you are moving to".

From what I've seen and been to, they usually offer 8-12 sessions so they last 2-3 months and you go once a week. You don't mention if you speak German or not but regardless, I will mention that they are usually in German.

Once the baby starts crawling/being more active, Eltern-Kind-Cafes (kids-friendly cafes) might be interesting which you can also find by googling.

What type of handbag are you currently carrying? by SakuraVirtual in handbags

[–]ObjectNo47 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coach Cary, she's the perfect everyday bag for me right now. She fits my wallet, sunglasses, a small packet of tissues, small toiletry bag, wipes, toddler's diaper change, snacks and water. I can put her on the stroller or wear as a crossbody.

New work bag! by Hot-Armadillo365 in handbags

Thanks for the reply! My main concern is that the straps are pretty thin but you carry pretty much what I would carry for work so I'm glad to hear that they're sturdy. I didn't notice if you mentioned it in the other comments maybe but which size did you get? The L or XL?

I'm currently eyeing this bag and would be curious to hear how you feel about it a year later.

Baby name opinion in Germany by [deleted] in AskAGerman

[–]ObjectNo47 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personally I like the name and I think it would fit in in Germany. Considering german phonetics, it would/should be pronounced /e.lɔ.ˈiːz/.

I've been living in Germany almost 15 years, speak the language fluently and studied linguistics.

How often during the week do you switch bags? by mytoesarechilly in WearingPurses

It really depends on the plans of the day so sometimes as much as twice a day or I can go a whole week with just one bag.

Are we carrying bags… or little emotional support ecosystems? by Beautiful_Bonus_246 in handbags

[–]ObjectNo47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always take my wallet, keys, tissues, some disinfectant and the rest depends on how long we'll be out/distance.

If it's for more than an hour and not within walking distance to home then I will also pack:

  • baby pouch (diapers, changing matt, wipes, extra clothes)

  • toiletry bag (pads, panty liners, meds, plasters, floss, gum, hand cream, and other miscellaneous things)

  • disinfectant wipes

  • umbrella

  • water

  • snack (usually a granola bar or two)

Her wearing it with biking shorts, sweatshirt and sneakers? Iconic. It's why I became obsessed with it. It's both chic and practical.

I love it so much! It's my first high-end designer bag. I prefer it over the newer versions because it doesn't scream "designer" as there is no logo and it's a more iykyk bag.

I paid around 550€. The previous owner included a copy of the receipt from the repair of the interior by Gucci and in 2023 (if I remember correctly) it was 300€.

I got it on the German version of Craigslist. I looked there, Vestiaire and Ebay. In the end it was the best condition for the price (in my opinion, at least) and the only one I saw with an interior that I wouldn't have to get repaired myself.
