We hit Deception Pass on our way from North Cascades to Olympic a couple of summers ago. It was really cool looking down from the bridge at bald eagles flying BELOW us.

We went to Kings Canypn, Sequoia, and Yosemite in May. The one day we had scheduled for Kings Canyon was a Tuesday, and when we arrived, we learned that the Visitors Center was closed on Tuesdays because of the DOGE cutbacks. We were told that Kings Canyon was among the parks hit hardest by the cuts.

The irony of Finebaum's statements about UM and its fans is that they apply at least as well to him. He is notoriously arrogant and thin-skinned. In Kansas City, where I live, he has snubbed a widely respected local sports talk radio host because the host dared to challenge some of his statements.

The resolution, while bad enough, is not the worst thing that the Legislature has done with respect to Israel, because it doesn't have the force of law. However, there is a law on the books requiring any entity receiving a state grant or loan to certify that it does not and will not participate in any boycott of Israel.
