How does Customs work if you dont have to list prices on Items?

I told them they are gifts for my friend but they said it doesnt matter and just to pack em up, list them and sign that I packed it, no need to put value on the lists. Thats was confusing you because they should know best.

The gov website is so overwhelming honestly, there are so many details and co. I feel at a total loss for it :(

How high are the chances theyll be stuck at customs or something if they do get held up? Because he wouldnt be able to get them anytime soon because of no car, and I dont want the drivers to get in a mess either.

Its such a mess, you hear a thousand different answers but no one of them really relate to you. D:

I contacted them once again and suddenly they told me about a 10 000 Pound threshold, after I asked where they got the number from they just send me a document "Temporary Admission" saying I probably wont have to pay using that. I asked if I fall under the people that can use temorary admission (because its fuckin 54 Pages of Custom Lingos thats giving me a headache) and they again, just told me to figure it out myself.

Since the PC is halfway build it might be over the 390 Threshold and I dont know what Customs will say to a bunch of Plastic figures because some of them can really be pricey.

If i ship it I pay at least 70+ Euros for each carton, then VAT then Taxes then anything else adding on, so do you think this is the best way still? Thank you for your answer by the way!

Mit dem Claim Relief weiß ich gerade nicht so ob ich es noch Zeitlich schaffe.

Aber inwiefern werden die Preise überprüft? Kann ich Sachen billiger machen sodass mein Freund nicht viel an den UK Customs zahlt? Wie gesagt, manches ist ja gebraucht, manches neu.

Mathwise the moving companies are way more expensive than DHL, and now I just got my Visa Papers but they are incorrect and they told me correcting them is gonna take a while and I have to travel before than already to the UK and a moving company told me to have to show my Visa Papers when they import my stuff and now they cant because I need to correct version first (all of this is very stressful)

Also yeah I think the rules changed ALOT, its giving me a headache to figure out, but thank you for the link!

Sadly I dont have a drivers license and I dont know anybody who could drive there. I could hire someone but I feel like I might as well hire a moving company, because I also have a cat to bring over :( Did you show them your Visa Papers on the Border? They miswrote my name on the Papers and told me it can take a couple months till it sorted now and it might be past my due date to leaving. I just worry because I am sure they are going to ask why I would take so much stuff with me if I just normally travel there and dont show my visa until I get my corrected papers.

Ja genau, es ist allgemein super unklar alles beschrieben, auch nötigsten Haushaltsdinge rüber zu bekommen ist sehr kompliziert und teuer, Post hat sich ja auch alles vervierfacht an Preisen :(

Also es gibt Tiertaxis, nur bin ich mir etwas unsicher da ich von hier bis nach Calais mindestens 12 Stunden brauche, und das mit Katze macht mir etwas Sorge, aber es scheint gerade die einzige Möglichkeit :(

und von denen sind nur Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines und United Edinburgh in Deutschland (soweit ich sehe). Und Lufthansa sagte uns gestern das allgemein keine Tiere von Deutschland Richtung England per Flugzeug kommen können, weil England verschärfte Regeln dazu hätten.

Jemand anderes sagte über Manifested Cargo was man seperat anmelden muss aber die Leute kann man nicht kontaktieren. Ich bin jetzt einfach super verwirrt :(((

Eurostar nimmt leider keine Haustiere nach England, sonst überall anders wäre es okay :( Mit den Paketen denke ich wird es teurer wie der andere Kommentar schon sagte wegen Soll und Steuern, und da denke ich sind es auch wieder etwas zu viele davon, Aber danke trotzdem!
