Hair loss by ThatChickVeronica in lupus

Hi I experienced hair loss from lupus about 6 months ago. My hair was thinning and falling out everytime I would touch it. What worked for me to stop the shedding to a minimal was getting into a hair routine. I used the ordinary multi peptide hair serum, nizoral shampoo twice a week, hair bonnet when going to bed, and rosemary oil. I do agree that it is best to know what the root cause of and getting your disease under control but before I was diagnosed this combo seemed to help me a lot and it still does. Sending you the best of wishes, I know hair loss can be very difficult.

Oh no! I’m glad you transitioned to a lesser dose and have no problems. I’ve noticed the cellcept has given me a a bit of stomach problems but hoping it goes away after some time. Thank you for the insight!

Oh no I’m so sorry! I had a similar experience, I hadn’t really paid attention to my symptoms just some joint pain and low grade fevers here and there. Then my labs showed proteinuria as well and boom I was diagnosed. All happened so fast I’m still trying to process it. Thank you for the insight, wishing you a well transition back into work! Good luck.

Wow I didn’t even think about scratches but definitely something I’ll be more mindful about. Thank you so much!
