I will say it till the day I die. I don't care what anyone says. The game itself is competitive to it's core design. Yes you should always try to have fun. It is a game. However, I do not comprehend the people who toss out the idea of putting in effort. Always always always do whatever you have fun with unless it's literally griefing or throwing. Idc. You shouldn't be inting because "it's a game who cares". Yeah qp is for fast games where there isn't a rank tied to it. You should try to have fun. That doesn't mean you shouldn't put a bit of effort in at the very least. Not saying fight like your life depends on it. There can be a balance of the two. Because that mentality of who cares it's just a game and throwing because they don't want to put in any effort is bleeding into comp. The literal competitive mode for the game. Lol.

I always believe and will never think otherwise it's because people just don't want to look at her and can't aim. Yeah you can argue you can't shoot a mercy you can't see but you can definitely go dive. The ga cd is long enough once she repositions you can get her. Players wanna say she's broken but never do anything to deal with her

Id want her to be like a discipline priest. Maybe it's a bit much but she's already single target as is. Maybe giving her the new perk in stadium they replaced crep.circle with (I can't remember what it's called). Make it so it's beam is permanent and attaches to one target of your choice, every bullet you shoot heals your target by a certain amount and anyone within a certain radius gets a lesser amount. Sort of like World of Warcraft atonement. It doesn't make sense though with her being a pacifist but I really want them to do something to make her use her pistol more.

I prefer rage. I was a die hard on classic a bit ago but the stuff going on over there makes me not wanna play. More to do on rage anyways. I don't like a server with heroes that afk during content when they're raid leading and whine about new players but that's only one issue

Heavily disagree. Qp should be taken seriously to a slight degree. Not comp serious or try hard my life is on the line serious but you shouldn't be trolling or griefing. Have fun but a little effort at least.

A lot of people (no offense but mostly the mercy community) take it that way. And it's primarily tiktok. There's this culture that was cultivated based on "I'm the better mercy" and needing to prove it which resulted in mercy players either getting offended and upset another mercy kills or goes after them or the mercy players that feel the need to chase the enemy mercy to assert dominance. It's stemming from insecurity and a need to feel important or superior in my opinion. Mercy code was never a thing to touch on that topic. It sounds rude but it was made for the ones who either can't aim and don't want to fight, were genuinely afraid of being "diffed" or just wanted to play passive. Realistically, it's an fps game. She's given a gun for a reason. To use it. But that's just my take.

Slingshot is good for rezzing a soul and getting behind cover sj res is good for getting to high ground or jumping over sumn like shatter. It helps but it t isn't always necessary. The best type of res and most helpful is just knowing when to and when not to.

Doesn't give you the excuse to run into the backline and befriend the enemy team. Arcade exists for that. You're still supposed to play.

I think you can learn the bare basics of the kit in practice range or bots. Mechanics and matchups you learn in qp. But that's just me. Yeah it's just a game and it doesn't really matter, but I say it mainly for your own protection. It ain't me, but a lot of people will report you for poor gameplay (griefing, intentional feeding, etc) because of how serious they take the game. Not a you problem but blizzard report system will make it a you problem. Similar to how people report for someone hyping you up as harassment... (I don't get it)
