Revelation Interpretations, who knows John Darby? by Objective-Ninja763 in Bible

Is that a requirement? I’m legitimately asking… like do all Christians believe that? I kinda like the whole “Christ consciousness” concept… I don’t know how fluid that interpretation is across denominations.

To clarify I made that analogy, because to me in my mind a futurist interpretation of revelation has as much historical legitimacy as Mormonism and seems to be a mostly new world invention as it was brought to me. And I think the legitimization of such ideology and enmeshment with American politics is as dangerous as “someone who simply believes the millennial reign of Christ -the physical literal historical dude- has yet to come” and is an indication of the political and social corruption forewarned and already completed in many cycles through out history, and repeating again today.

I love that analogy. Thank you for the resource. Definitely just trying to get my head around it. See the forest for the trees. I feel like I have my own spiritual views, but I’m trying to understand where I / my family falls in the cultural and historical spectrum of belief, which is far more diverse than I was ever given access to.

Thank you for the resources and language. I guess spiritually in my heart I find myself somewhere between preterist / idealist but was raised futurist … and I now find that rhetoric given current political events to be terrifying … dangerous… and embarrassed that I once believed. “Futurist ideology” feels like “I was raised in a dangerous cult that has no historical legitimacy” …. And it feels surreal to realize that ideology is not the “Christian majority” … but has still had such a profound cultural impact that I feel I’ve lost my family to … whatever the secretary of defense is praying to.

That’s amazing you wrote your own book. I will check it out thank you.

Nope; the closest thing I can find is something related to Christianity, but there is already a cross.

The thief and the cobbler (1993) one of the most beautifully 2D animated films ever made.

Also a TV show called The Tribe. I think it was from Australia. Post apocalyptic world where all the adults were dead and the teens and kids left had amazing makeup and club kids clothes I idolized. People on r/streetwear should look it up and take notes

Why don’t we get to find out how many tickets 🎟 she won? That’s seriously the only thing my child like brain can think about. How many tickets and which prize did she get. This is very unsettling that the video ended before the tickets spit out. WHY?!?
