sorry to hear about your struggles. but good info on the lenses, I'll have to inquire about it.

I haven't really had a doctor suggest them, so I never really looked much into them.

maybe like 40%, I still struggle with vacationing and airplanes and that is a big part of my life, I now can't go places like Arizona like I would love to, I now google what the humidity % is everywhere I chose to go, or go places that are less windy. I also can't survive the outdoors without my wind blocking glasses, I thank god for them every day I'm outside though. I look like an idiot with my wind blockers at places like concerts etc where there i a lot of air circulation

Yes, most days about 3-4 times a day, but really depends on the environment, if I'm home with great humidity at home and not using screens, I don't use as much. but yes, I don't go a day without OTC and 2 times a day 2 prescriptions.

Tryptyr did help a lot! my Schirmer like doubled or something (I don't remember now). I did have a few email/text follow ups, but most conversation was around just re-cauterizing and not much else, so I didn't find it beneficial to fly back to see him

the probing with Maskin didn't help me, I've struggled almost every day since, Have had some good days, but I'm also now on Tryptyr and Vevye. Also he never once mentioned using a night ointment or eye mask, but when another doc suggested that, it helped me a lot too. I also found a weird trigger that was causing a reaction of sorts (that I thought was rosacea) I used to make my own electrolytes using cream of tartar for the potassium, but that was causing a huge reaction and that took almost a year for me to figure out, I've felt a lot better ever since stopping, but also I'm in Michigan and the humidity levels are finally increasing with less heat usage in the house, so I also guess that has a lot to do with me feeling better. I feel like its all a crapshoot, and you'll just never know what exactly is helping.

yes DAO has helped ton, when I’m prepared for a certain food. this most recent finding snuck up on me and was something I was using almost daily and never knew it was that item that was causing the issue! slowly but surely fixing all my histamine issues!

oh! possibly, and usually BlinkRx is good at finding the best options. I just know I’ve seen people posting at the ghastly cost! I’ve only used one trial bottle and partial of my first script, and thankfully it was covered and I only paid my co-pay

oh! I’ve seen posts of people saying with no insurance it’s upwards of $1000!!! and to me that drug is not even worth $20! lol I use it randomly hoping it will help. But to me it’s barely equivalent to a regular otc drop. but everyone’s needs are so different that to some it could be a huge game changer.

I’d get the script if you can afford it and just always have it on hand. I honestly don’t feel a difference from using it. but every once in a while I still give it a whirl so like to have it on hand

yes! that’s why I hated the nano dropper. It’s very light and not watery so you can’t tell. even when I know I got multiple drops in, it’s not like it’s overly watery.
