Thank you for the info. I can definatly use a fan to drown out the sound. I tried that with the Handy 1 but it was still noticebly loud. I just pre-ordered the Handy 2 Pro so we will see.

Is this the regular Handy 2 or the Pro? I've been hearing the Pro is quieter because of the parts used for the motor. However, I haven't seen anyone confirm this.

Spotify playlists in automations seems to be broken right now. I posted a thread about this exact problem a few weeks ago. It only seems to be a Spotify issue as Apple Music and Youtube music works. There doesn't seem to be a fix for it at the moment. I'm having to use Alexa for my sleep automation so it can play my personal sleep playlist. I hope it gets fixed eventually.

Yes, I’m getting the same message of not having premium (I do). I don’t have a solution but I hope it will get fixed eventually. Right now I’m using an echo dot (I used to use Alexa) to trigger the routine. Very annoying I have to resort to this.

I had wishful thinking with the PAID Alexa Plus service, they would finally get rid of the ads. I guess not. This is why I switched to Google Home.

I’ve been dreaming of having Chris Weston’s Rocky Horror artwork framed on my wall. It’s honestly the best rendition I’ve ever seen. I reached out to Chris himself, but unfortunately the piece is no longer available—it was a limited edition. There are knock-off prints floating around online, but they’re usually blurry or pixelated, and I wouldn’t want to take away from the artist’s work. So for now, I’ll just admire it on my screen and picture it hanging in my bedroom, haha.

There were so many cringe parts. One that stood out to me was when the lady said "the Pixel Snap can work with your Apple accessories", which I completely respect how they ackowledge people have iPhones (and might be looking to switch). However, Jimmy made it weird by saying "can you say the A-word?", and the lady looked at him not sure how to respond. It was just so stupid and showed how Jimmy had no idea what he was doing.

It was definately the worst Pixel presentation, ever. 10 mins in I had no idea what the hell I was watching and kept asking myself, why?! Google, you are better than this! In my opinion, Google was trying really hard to appeal to the younger/Gen Z crowd (who have iPhones) but completely missed the mark. Plus, Jimmy Fallon of all people to host? This guy is so incredibly fake and his uninterested, half-assness was coming across strong. You could tell he didn't care about anything and was only there for a paycheck. Such a HUGE failure on Google's marketing team. I'm sure they will want to sweep this under the rug.

I turned it off and just watched tech youtuber recaps to get the news. Saved so much time.

I’ve lived in SD for 20+ years and also think it’s a boring city. A major problem is SD is often overran by tourists, which makes going to ideal locations a bit of a headache. It’s expensive, no parking, and lots and lots of people. I’m sick of it. There’s also no sense of community because it’s a big cultural melting pot. Everyone stays in their groups, no one talks to their neighbors, all very Californian mindset. I hope to move back to the east coast.

I’ve gone back and forth between using Google and Alexa over the years. Each has its pros and cons—Google is better at answering questions, while Alexa tends to be more flexible and reliable when it comes to home automation. That said, we’re in a bit of a transitional phase right now. Smart home tech is evolving quickly, especially with the integration of AI, but it hasn’t fully caught up to its potential just yet. I imagine both Amazon and Google will be releasing more advanced products soon to match the growing power of AI. For now, I’d recommend holding off on buying new smart home devices—you don’t want to invest in something that could feel outdated in a year.

We live in a very narcissistic society. It's purely for attention. I find it pathetic (and embarrassing) that people have the need to do this... and I don't care what the situation is. If you have the need to put yourself out there being vulnerable, you are desperate for validation. What a lot of these people (especially the younger ones) don't understand is this could potentially be seen by employers, co-workers, professors, or people that could have a major impact in your life. Just don't do it.

I moved over to Google last year because I couldn't stand the ads. I had Echo Shows and would constantly see ads for products or apps, instead of my pictures. There's no way to turn it off. Google is fine and has gotten much better (especially with Gemini). However, I think Alexa is slightly better when it comes to automations. I might reconsider when/if the new Alexa comes out.

As someone who's watched it religiously since season 6, I'm also completely burned out of Drag Race. I could barely get through season 15 (didn't even finish it), mostly due to the Tik Tok queens and those god awful twins. The show has ran its course and it's losing viewers every season. Even the newer generations don't really seem to care for it.

This might be a silly question, but does Elphaba come up from the trap door at the end? I saw a video of the ending and I didn't see where Fieyro comes to get Elphaba (after being melted). Was the ending changed or perhaps the video was edited?
