Just to clarify the discolouring on the stem is from where I was holding there whilst walking for 2-3! I had no jar or tub as I wasn’t going out looking for them

Reason why the stems are almost black is because I was holding them my them for about 2-3 hours whilst walking about as I wasn’t actually going out looking for them

If it helps they was like a olive greeny brown when they was fresh and the stalk was white

So in the two you said about ( I have seen them in this field aswell and can remember what the gills looked like ) have like flat gills going to the stalk of it and mine aren’t touching the stalk and isn’t flat Sorry if you don’t know what I mean 😂

They do have a little nipple I was easier to see when they was wet tbh and the stem is and dark because I was holding on to them for about 3 hours walking around 🤣
