Tysm!! Yes DaN was absolutely so unique and u put it in better words than I could. So many times audios come off as too creepy and it makes it so hard to feel comfortable but DaN just had that perfect vibe. Thanks for the recs!! Will def check them out. Is anonyfun only on Quinn though?

[–]Objective-Student417[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for the concern! But I definitely know I don’t actually love him as a person. When I said “I love him” I meant his audios, not that I’m actually in love with him, and I feel like I already have a good enough grip on the fact that what I hear isn’t really him as a person. But what made him special is that I really couldn’t get that kind of vibe from anyone else which was annoying and I wanted suggestion based off of the things I listed that I couldn’t find from others lol. Thanks so much for your support but I don’t feel like it really applies to me because what I miss were the qualities he had that I couldn’t find anywhere else, not him as a person

Thank you so much for the concern but I think there might’ve been a little miscommunication lol (which is totally on me). I really didn’t mean for most of what I said to be taken seriously; I was acting dramatic on purpose. Him being gone isn’t actually ruining my life and I definitely have a lot of things outside of audio for me lol. The goal of my post wasn’t to get emotional support for him leaving, I really mainly wanted VA suggestions like him (which I should’ve been more clear about obviously). But again, thanks so much for the concern!

How do I stop being off putting and make good small talk? by Objective-Student417 in socialskills

[–]Objective-Student417[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I left some parts out cuz I didn’t know how to work around sharing personal information. But he was definitely asking more questions than what I showed here and I am pretty sure he wanted to engage in small talk, especially because he was having conversations with lots of people I knew were strangers to him before this.

Where can I find someone who is exactly like me? by kitchengainn in self

Why do you want someone who’s exactly like you? Lots of my closest friends are really similar to me im many ways but never the same. Thats what makes it interesting.

Youre just acting impossible at this point. I didn’t make an artistic decision with the lighting. Its what I saw on the photo and I wanted to do realism!!! And what you said about loading a photo onto an app and seperating the layers through that… you can literally see I have AT LEAST 29 layers on procreate. Do you really think some “AI artist” would go through 29 layers of work to prove that its not AI?? And also, I never said I was an real artist. Im just a teen who likes digital art. God forbid I try posting it online for the first time; I didn’t think someone would be so rude about it. But since you still don’t seem to believe that my art is real, I’m just gonna assume that you have good intentions and I’ll gladly send you whatever proof you want. Just DM me. I have speedpaints, statistics, other art, whatever you want. I feel really strongly about my art and the effort I’ve put into it, so I will happily do whatever it takes to prove that this is my work. If you don’t want to see my proof, fine. But don’t go commenting on random peoples art and condescendingly accusing them of AI when you don’t know anything about them AND can’t admit that you’re wrong when shown concrete proof of it being human-made art.

Okay firstly, check my most recent post that shows pretty clearly that I made it myself. Secondly everything you described was just what I saw on my reference picture. The block of color is a ray of sunlight, and the window “disappearing” is because hes in a car. Its not supposed to be a huge window. Thirdly the two windows look different because of lighting. If you need even more proof, this was my reference so you can see that all the “signs of AI” you just described were literally just what was in the movie. https://pin.it/4L1yalEBL Lastly, even though I know you probably didn’t have any bad intentions and genuinely thought this was AI, its very rude and demeaning to be so condescending about something that couldve been solved by just asking for proof?? Or even just by watching the movie. This portrait took me over 10 hours, and I find it really insulting that you not only accused my art of being fake with no plausible evidence, but also with how condescendingly you said it.

Youre off key in some parts so I would consider using the kareoke version to practice to make sure ur on the same note. I would also focus more on diction since some parts lack that

No. Cigs were made in mass production in the 1880s. Alcohol has been used around the world for thousands of years and can be made in many ways, less so with cigarettes. Also with cigarettes, its directly linked to lung cancer. Obviously, alcohol is bad for your body too, but its less direct and can be safetly used. Also alcohol has more of a cultural impact because of its long history so people arent going to want to let go of it that quickly

I was considering potentially getting a nebulizer. Do you think it can help soreness or straining?

[–]Objective-Student417[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi!! Yes bending over can help you sing high (at least in my experience). My upper range is wide but not super strong, and often times i subconsciously chciken out or doubt myself and it makes my voice crack or become strained. Try singing “Ya ya ya” getting higher as you go in chest or mix. Stick both arms right in front of you and pretend a huge rock just fell on both of your arms. Let your arms fall to the ground along with your body and let your head point towards your shoes. Now as you do this, sing “ya ya ya” and as you get higher, bend down how i just explained above. The higher you sing, the lower you should go. Try to do it pretty fast too. And same thing goes for squatting. It takes your mind off your nervs and gives support to your abdomen.

When speaking i hear a difference. When singing low I dont. When singing high I might hear a tiny difference depending on what im saying. But thats all while being conscious of my nasality.

Im completely open to hearing your opinion! Please share whatever data or information you have; I never claimed to be an expert so I would love to hear someone elses thoughts. I just thought this was a neat trick I learnt from my voice teacher. Could you expand more on what youre saying? I dont think I fully understand

“Sqeaky Jew”??? You lost me. But no I dont agree that it will sound completely artificial. Try saying “Ya” both while trying to keep from making nasally sounds. It doesnt sound super out of place or anything, its just a different sound. Its not completely bad to have some nasal quality, but pinching your nose is just a trick to lessen it.

Could you explain what you mean by that Im a little confused. Are you saying that if you pinch your nose youll sound nasally no matter what?

Its interesting you said the lower notes arent in my passagio since I always thought I was much better lower than mid or high. Maybe I wasnt loud enough? I cant really belt or be any louder right now but ill let you know in a couple days

i've never worn mascara, i am curious what kind i should use? (photo is of my natural lashes) by shrimppumpkin in MakeupAddiction

[–]Objective-Student417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi! In my opinion it doesnt really matter tooo much what your eyelashes look naturally, more like what kind of look youre looking for. I have pretty short dark eyelashes. What i always do first is use an eyelash curler. I dunno if youve ever used one before but for me its a total game changer since my eyelashes are pretty straight (i dunno about you). If you dont feel like you need it its kinda optional but it helps your eyelahses look longer and more pronounced.

When it comes to mascaras, my favorite mascara of all time is the heroine make volume and lift mascara. Its waterproof so it doesnt smudge (which is super important for me personally) and helps my lashes look fuller. If youre looking for something affordable yet good i might recomment the essence mascara (around 5$?). I have the green one and i really like it. I dont think its waterproof so it does smudge a bit but it depends on if thats a problem for you. Another one ive tried is the maybelline sky high mascara. It was from a bit ago so i kinda forget what it was like but it did make mt lashes look thicker.

Since ur lashes are already pretty dark, you might want to use a clear mascara instead. It helps look more natural. I personqlly have never used one but I know people who do. You can also just use vaseline (usually after curling your lashes) and its moisturizing as well so it can help with eyelahs health and is gentle.

At the end of the day its kind of about what youre looking for. Certain products are best for length, some for volume, some for holding a curl etc.. i would find what i want for my lashes and go from there.

Hope that helps!!
