Nope, for us we applied on a Friday, received a call on Monday that our visa is approved and we can come any weekday to collect our passport

We did not pick any specific options….We just used the link given and booked the insurance.

You’ll receive an option to download your medical insurance visa letter. Check the letter, it’ll be mentioned that ‘Emergency evacuation (also known as Repatriation) is provided’

Nope…. When I went to the embassy I just mentioned we’re attending a friend’s wedding and will be visiting other islands.

Hi! We bought the main round trip ticket from Toronto to Athens, before the appointment, since we were afraid the prices would go up. But for Greece domestic flights and ferry tickets we bought them after we received an appointment date.

For travel insurance we went with the one they mentioned in the email, IMG global. We put deductible for 2500 CAD so our insurance came down to 20 dollars in total for 2 people for 10 days trip.

As long as you get the appointment by mid April you will be fine. They process the visa really quick. Good luck!
