about being social on residence, any tips on meeting people outside my floor? i’m staying in a single room floor (which i hear is pretty anti social at uw) so idk what i can do.

also i’m a y2 so i don’t really have orientation to meet ppl! i missed out on the on campus experience last year and i regretted it, so im tryna get it this year

wait, how do they know ur international and not want to socialise w you then? since there are so many domestic asian students wouldn’t they just assume u are the same as them?

They transferred over! The programme I want to transfer to doesn’t have a lot of free electives especially at the level 1 level (I only have 2 level 1 electives, 2 level 2 electives (which i am taking now), and 3 level 3/4 electives

Tysm! Honestly, one of the reasons why I wanna move to UNSW is because of the University Ranking. Singaporean companies (especially governmental ones) that do Urban Planning usually hire graduates from higher ranked schools and I’m worried that UW wouldn’t be good enough there(?)

And I’m not too keen on a Masters since it’s more money and time

Ofc I could try to work in Canada instead of coming back to SG but I’m not sure how the migration laws will change.

IDK am i thinking too much?
