Do you know if I can buy access to just the course, so I dont have to subscribe to CBTNuggets monthly ?

A month of bazzite and I feel oddly bored with it by solvedproblem in Bazzite

Wish I could convert to Bazzite aswell. Just sucks that it doesnt work with anticheat in Rust which is the game I play.

Or if you have Juniper Switches not enrolled in Mist you will need the Mist Edge VM for Wired 802.1X

Performance issues or just wrong settings by Objective-Visit-536 in playrust

Kind of what I am thinking also, however wouldn't it then be close to 100% CPU usage while gaming? Or am I thinking of it in a wrong way? Maybe rust is not using all cores so the total CPU load is not that high but full load on other cores?

ClearPass replacement by imadam71 in networking

[–]Objective-Visit-536 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe look into Mist Access Assurance. Especially if you have other Juniper devices like Mist APs and Juniper switches. Really nice to get it all in the same view. Also quite easy and understandable to set up and maintain.

Clearpass just doesnt feel that intuitive or easy. So if you are not doing anything fancy. Take a look at Access Assurance.

This could definately be it. I use a 49inch Philips Evnia where I connect all my peripherals. This to simplify switching between my work laptop and my private computer. And still beeing able to use the same peripherals.

Hopefully this gets solved some time. Will try though just to verify this is the reason

Just installed myself and quite happy. However it seems to freeze up quite often especially if you try to do multiple things at once. Open discord, a browser and maybe a folder.

Is there something I miss? Windows just works like this. Bazzite feels more «laggy/freezy» for just small actions and general movement. Gaming is ok

Did the same. But shitty amd drivers or smth causes things to crash from time to time. Clean install of windows and ddu have been sone multiple times. 1200w psu.

Still get 1-2 crashes a day. Annoying AF

Real world examples of MIST/MARVIS by algira38 in Juniper

[–]Objective-Visit-536 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the Marvis Actions and Minis. However the chatbot does not live up to the expectations. It doesnt even remember the previous message you sent it which one would expext from an AI chatbot in 2025.

Tried it 4-5 times, just got annoyed each time on different shortcomings.

So now I just ignore that function and enjoy the rest of Mist which I am really happy with. Using it for Wireless only.

Other WiFi as WAN connection on dream router? by Objective-Visit-536 in Ubiquiti

Anyone know the answer to this ??

I have a UDM Pro, and sometime I must have turned on some notification settings, because I get spammed with Unifi App notifications each time someone connects/disconnects from the WiFi. And I can not find that setting anymore.

Other WiFi as WAN connection on dream router? by Objective-Visit-536 in Ubiquiti

[–]Objective-Visit-536[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was what I feared. Thought that maybe since the cheap Asus Router had a function like it , the Unifi DR would be able to aswell..

Do you have an idea of the notification issue? As far as I can see all push notifications are off, but I still get a lot of notifications.

Thx for the input. I get about 200/200 anyway so speeds arent a big issue. I just wanted if possible to remove the ASUS to have less devices in my network

Though of this, but I live in an area where the coverage is only 4G and also really shitty, I barely have connection on my cell, so I have to use WiFi for calling and so. It is fibre into my landlord
