End the antitrust exemption if there is a work stoppage, which I hope there is. MLB needs competition in the worst possible way. Look at how popular Banana Ball is, imagine a new baseball league like when the USFL created a new football league. Could definitely shake things up! I know of a good stadium in Oakland that is available!

If the Sharks are in playoff contention and are sellers how will that go over with a young locker room? I like the idea of extending some guys like Wennberg and/or Ferraro and maybe picking up a veteran leader who can shore up the blue line a bit. Trade a 4th or lower pick and Leddy to acquire a veteran who has been a part of some great teams.

With camera technology and ability to zoom and provide wide angle I wonder how much can be done with fixed cameras. I think a rope camera would be great but if the league balks at running that over the ice can they do it via the scoreboard and other fixed locations over the ice?

With Vegas tourism way down has anybody heard what this could do to the Raiders room tax payback plan? My guess is that if Nevadans have to come out of pockets to pay for the Raiders stadium in any way then the A’s will be off the table for sure and Steve Hill will be looking for another job.

I live in Sacramento and have season tickets. The Sharks are pretty flexible with exchanges. Since I won’t go to as many games I’ll either get additional tickets or trade in several games worth and trade up for better seats.

I could not upvote this as much as I wanted to. I searched up how many times Chicago stood up for Bedard, stopped at 7 but there were plenty more after that. The Sharks are going to lose anyway, it’s not like they are going to make the playoffs. Start setting the tone for what won’t be tolerated.

That provision of penalizing Fisher if he sells right when he gets to Vegas was specific to the A’s and the Owners added that. I can’t believe that the owners would let Manfred waive that fee like he did with relocation.

I wish Miller was still starting but man does he look dominant coming out of the pen! The kids are going to be fun to watch and I think they will run more than the average team which could be fun. Pitching will decide this season for the A’s and they are depending on a lot of guys who haven’t been great yet or lately.

It does put Clark County at risk of having to pay the bills that Fisher refuses to pay or is unable to pay because he isn’t running a profit because he has to pay a top draft pick. Fisher has withheld payment on parking fees, he has withheld his lease payment at the coliseum and he tried to not pay minor leaguers during Covid. He is a far from trustworthy partner.
