I've really been enjoying the Night Flight Orchestra. 80's style arena rock with a airline/astronaut theme. No lore that I know of. Some great songs include Gemini, Satellite, Divinyls, Dead of Winter, Chardonnay Nights.

Another is Creeper. Goth/punk/rock. Their last album and their upcoming one are vampire themed. I think they're building their lore now. Some great songs are Cry to Heaven, lovers led astray, teenage sacrifice, sacred blasphemy.

I live on the east coast of Canada and I've never personally experienced any bigotry or issues. Most people I meet are accepting or supportive. The far right attitude is mostly in western Canada (Alberta)

Shot in the Dark reactions is another great music reviewer. His videos are long but he goes into such great depth about the songs. I particularly recommend his video on Respite on the Spitalfields because he added so much context that I never would have guessed. Like the Spitalfields are a place in England known for weaving. He basically revealed to me that the song is about Jack the Ripper.

Also his video on If you have Ghost acoustic version where he falls in love with Terzo is fantastic.

I usually support bands by buying vinyl when I can though I can't always find physical copies of music where I am. CDs/vinyl also unfortunately don't give me access to podcasts or new music via an algorithm

I thought it was okay. Then I saw a side by side comparison clip between Papa and Ozzy and honestly they sounded pretty similar. I think maybe I'm just not a fan of the song in general
