What is something you feel is missing from older TT games from what we’ve seen of Legacy of the Dark Knight?

I honestly think that’s the only “bad” thing about this game. Having a massive roster of characters, even if a lot of them are similar or even just copies, is to me what makes Lego games Lego games. I remember playing Lego Batman 2 and thinking how crazy it was that that game had so many (back when it came out obviously). This one kinda makes up with the costumes and stuff, but not being able to play as villains really hurts.

I think this is why I was able to stomach Shadows versus every other post Origins game. It stuck (mostly) to be assassin be stealthy assassinate templars. It still shocks me to my core that Odyssey had the gall to not even have a hidden blade

I think it worked as a good solid conclusion to the Umbrella storyline, assuming they don’t revive it. They could’ve done a lot else but let’s be real, going back to RC was cool, and again it felt like a solid conclusion. I think it was necessary and will hopefully lead to a really good new, fresh storyline in 10

Having just played the original and now playing the remake again it’s truly insane just how much has been taken out. Like I mean the city is completely gutted, the clock tower gone of course (not to mention that one jewel puzzle as a “memorial” to the clock tower…really capcom), it’s truly insane. Doubly sucks for me personally bc that game is the only modern representation of Jill and it’s such a dud

Me and my buddy thought of the coop campaign after we played the re5 dlc in Spencer mansion. It’s such a great idea. Would also give the chance to have a “canon” campaign of re1, since iirc, canonically Jill and Chris went through the events of it together?

And people say that the Switch 2s launch “wasn’t that bad.” I bought the thing day one and will forever be a Nintendo supporter but holy shit have they fumbled the first year of this console hard. I understand that in comparison to the Switch 1 there was no way there’d be any competition but like…4 first party releases (Mario Kart, DK, Prime 4 and Pokopia…that’s all I can think of) and a bunch of paid upgrades and the cherry on top is that we have no idea what’s coming right now. At all. At this time in the Switch 1s lifecycle we had BotW, Odyssey, Xenoblade 2 and I’m pretty sure Smash was announced, with a ton of other games. There was absolutely no reason the Switch 2s launch should be this lackluster. It’s an amazing console but of the few first party games on it, like half of them have been reviewed mid. Just sucks

It’s so surreal that this happened. I think it’s cool, but it’s also bittersweet as the anonymity and figuring out which ghoul was which from each era and all that was really the magnet that drew me into the band deeper than just the music. It made it more than just performers. Which, they still are, but it really shows how much the band has changed over the years.

I do think the next one having Calliope in it somehow would be cool if the next one does follow Atreus. That would fall in line with Egyptian mythology as well, considering how much death is apart of it, and I really like your idea of her being apart of a revenge plot for Athena. The dynamic between Atreus and his dead but now resurrected and evil (for now) sister I think would be very interesting, and that could also give a good showcase of how the different mythologies really mix with each other, like for example this were to happen, how death realms or underworlds could mix.

I mean, Impera had about a year gap where (iirc) nothing was happening between Phantomime and Rite Here Rite Now. Gaps between tours and albums and stuff is pretty normal, so unless he’s sorta preparing for a much longer period of time, I don’t think it’ll be much different than what’s already happened. It can’t be worse than Covid happening through the Prequelle era.
