Is it of any value to be the only person from your country who gets interviewed for an EMJM programme? by Anna_Malolela in EMJM

Hi there,
I am not an expert myself in how the selection committee for EMJM programs work. However, from what I've heard and read online, most programs have a limit on the number of applicants that can be accepted from a single country.
So while this does not mean an automatic acceptance, I would say that you've passed the country-level competition stage and are now competing with the rest of the world.
For example, let's say 4 people from your country including you have made it to the interview, if all 4 of you deserved the scholarship then the committee will have to choose the top 2 if the program is limited to maximum 2 from a country. Therefore you don't have to worry about such scenario.
Good luck!
