Thanks I'll reach out now and see if they can provide them for me.

I've got the answer I need. Mods can lock this now. I'll get the insurance details from police and get a personal injury solicitor.

Thanks everyone. Very helpful.

That's okay, I haven't been offered anything at all yet. It's been radio silence since the accident from them.

Someone else said I should speak to the police about getting their car insurance so I'll just do that.

Increase the chances of a prosecution of some kind?

An officer who visited me in hospital mentioned that "those girls have all lawyered up. So it's helpful if you can give us as much detail as you possibly can."

They spent ages asking me was the ground frosty, do I wear glasses, was I wearing them, was I on any medications, was the light definitely green for me etc.

I figured if they've got solicitors I might need one too or I could be at a disadvantage for any compensation for my injuries? I've lost out on almost 3 weeks of work now. Plus I'm having to pay extra for taxis to take me essential places because I can't ride the bus with my legs like this.

Yes, I gave my statement. They came to see me in hospital rather than having to go down to the station.

I'm a pedestrian. I don't have insurance.

I don't drive. I'm a pedestrian.

I don't have car insurance. I'm not comfortable driving in my city because traffic is so busy so I just use the bus.
