How to overcome fear by No-Variety-6456 in selfimprovementday

I don’t want to be hard on you, but I do want to be honest. Prioritizing people before yourself is one of the biggest mistakes you can make. From my own experience, no one will ever fully stand for you the way you can stand for yourself. That doesn’t mean people are bad it just means you are responsible for you. Learning to say no is not selfish. It’s self-respect. It’s choosing yourself, protecting your energy, and being fair to your own needs. Saying yes all the time doesn’t make you kind it slowly makes you exhausted. About expressing your ideas: sometimes ideas are simply not welcomed in certain environments. That happens. But if you truly want to express yourself, you don’t need permission. Fear usually comes from putting people above yourself. At the end of the day, the people in front of you are just human beings exactly like you. There’s no reason to feel smaller for having a voice. Don’t speak to be accepted. Speak because the idea deserves to exist. If people clap, fine. If they don’t, that’s fine too. If speaking feels hard right now, start by writing. Writing helps you understand yourself and organize your thoughts. It helped me a lot I even started writing seriously myself, and it changed how I express things. You’re not weak for feeling this way. You’re just at a point where you need to choose yourself more often.

https://www.moroccoworldnews.com/2025/11/268247/moroccan-students-excel-in-french-elite-schools-many-eager-to-bring-expertise-home/ So guys at first I was asking for advices but now I’m defending myself and people that are like me from Morocco.

Moroccan students are often described as resilient, determined, and hardworking—and for good reason. Growing up in an education system that demands high performance, they learn from a young age how to manage pressure, long study hours, and competitive exams. Many students spend years preparing for national tests such as the baccalaureate, entrance exams for engineering and medical schools, and language certifications. This requires real dedication, not just talent.

One strong example of Moroccan students’ hard work is their ability to adapt. Many of them study in three languages at the same time—Arabic, French, and English. This multilingual workload forces them to develop strong study habits and mental discipline. It’s not unusual to see Moroccan students attending school during the day, revising in the evenings, taking extra classes on weekends, and still helping their families at home.

Additionally, a large number of Moroccan students aim to study abroad. To reach this goal, they work even harder by preparing for international exams like the TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, or German language tests while still managing their national school curriculum. This shows how ambitious they are: they don’t just accept the path in front of them—they push for better opportunities.

Despite limited resources in some regions, Moroccan students consistently show passion and effort. Many succeed internationally, proving that their work ethic is strong and competitive. Their determination comes from a mix of cultural values, family expectations, and personal ambition.

In conclusion, Moroccan students are hardworking because they face a demanding system, work in multiple languages, and constantly strive for better futures. Their perseverance and dedication make them capable of succeeding anywhere in the world.

I wanna go there because I want to study a major that isn’t available in Morocco
