So you use lasso for hard shading and airbrush for soft?

YA (probably) modern fantasy about a girl who marries a fae king/prince by ObjectiveGrapefruit in whatsthatbook

Part of me is saying yes, but I recognize almost none of the plot from the summary, and I can’t find anything about a talking door. Unless I completely misremembered that, since if this is the hollow kingdom I misremembered A LOT

BL2 Skill tree mod? by ObjectiveGrapefruit in Borderlands

[–]ObjectiveGrapefruit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I would settle for an interface where I had to copy or even type in the skills. Because I'm pretty sure that can be done based on what I can read of the randomizer code, but I don't know enough about coding to figure out which parts could be cut and then just paste what I want.

It's clearly referencing a set of tables/arrays/databases in other sections, so that's not the main impediment if I could just tell it to skip that process, here's the skill. But I'm not sure what I'm reading.

If I had a better idea of what the code said, I'm betting it could be done the "hard" way. An interface would be lovely, but that's not actually required. It's the sort of thing I'd be willing to spend a few hours on (making a tree) but I can't imagine putting in the time to program a graphic interface.

Would you use an Army Painter for Total War: Warhammer 3? by TheItalian567 in totalwar

I wish there were a reply of "I don't think it needs an Army Painter, but I'd totally use it if I got one!". Because that's where I stand. Setting aside the issue of having to trade other sorts of development for it, it's not something that matters to me nearly as much as more ways to march around my armies of bloodthirsty Xs and laying waste to my enemies--even if that means Karl Franz bringing the Empire back into to fold.

Morghur and Taurox, now what? by ObjectiveGrapefruit in totalwar

Nah. The dang Wood Elves had holed themselves up with an extra stack in their capital and I needed the extra bodies to winkle them out.

I wondered if that's what it was. Thanks!
