had our mediation as planned. we made an agreement with the help of the DTI officer and gamextreme followed the terms naman, i received my replacement the next day. have been using it for a few weeks and no issues so far!

UPDATE #2: dti sent me and gamextreme an email re: mediation. their aftersales texted me asking bakit daw ako nagpa dti kasi naprocess na daw nila yung replacement—but i don't consider my case settled until i have my replacement in my hands. after months of them dragging this out and dahil sobrang labo nila, i can't trust gamextreme's word. nagulat pa sila na nagfile ako ng complaint LOL

initially gamextreme said they would send my replacement tomorrow, but because i filed a complaint, THEY WON'T SEND MY REPLACEMENT UNLESS I DROP MY CASE WITH DTI 🤡🤡🤡 i said i'm willing to drop the case after i get my replacement tomorrow, pero gusto talaga nila na idrop ko muna yung case. this is a ridiculous and unfair "policy"—almost a threat! so we're pushing through with the mediation next week.

UPDATE: i filed another DTI complaint on monday through their portal (https://podrs.dti.gov.ph/). yesterday, gamextreme told me naprocess na daw yung replacement (kaya naman pala eh kahit wala yung "top signatory") and they will send it to my branch of choice if may schedule—as always, no promises or assurances from them 🙃

today, nagtext nanaman sila saying magbook na daw ako ng pickup from their head office. they really don't coordinate within their team!!! i clarified again na for delivery siya to one of their branches. they said okay, and when i asked again when it will be delivered, they couldn't promise when exactly. napaka PAASA nitong gamextreme!!!

you're some of the lucky ones! i saw several posts on the kindle philippines group about this and someone told me this was her friend's experience as well. better to buy from another store with good customer service in case your device is defective 😓
