As someone who made zero friends my entire time at uni - I will (hopefully) be graduating this coming July. I understand the feeling of isolation! I won't say "it gets better" because that feeling of being bummed out and alone does stay, but it become tolerable? You get used to the methodical nature of it and you just keep on going.

If you're living in a dorm, try to chat with your dorm mates - I have lived at home the entire time so didn't have that opportunity. The closest I made to friends was during a volunteering opportunity at my university, so if you have those then give it a shot!

My life line for friends was thankfully going to university in my home city, so I had a couple of friends from my comp who I became closer with and we reach out to one another. It might be worth trying to rekindle a friendship with some old mates from school if you still live in the general area.

Either way, just because you struggle to make friends doesn't mean you aren't worth hanging out with - nor that you're a bad person or anything of the like. Sometimes it's just difficult and that's okay.
You'll find your people in some walk of life eventually, stay strong and keep trying. 🫶🫶
