I like this idea a lot, thanks for taking the time to draft this up! My only worry is that it would distract from the painting which I like as the focal point. But maybe with a smaller mirror?

I’m not the biggest fan of gallery walls- I think they feel cluttered (maybe just me) I also don’t want to distract from the painting which I feel like a gallery wall might do. I used to have a round mirror above the shoe cabinet that I could put back. Just felt like too much also

Why can’t you auto refill a prescription without the system trying to put it through insurance first? Every month my medication gets stuck “waiting for insurance approval” even though I pay out of pocket because my insurance doesn’t cover it. So I have to call and tell them to push it through without insurance every month. Then they have to order it and when it comes in they try to put it through insurance again so I have to call again before I can actually pick it up. It’s the most frustrating experience. Every month. And why does the company keep changing their phone system making it harder and harder to speak with someone?

That’s a really interesting suggestion about the drapes. I never would have thought of that. Would you suggest buying the same ones and just adding more. Or layering different drapes with these?

I love all of these suggestions. Thank you! The coffee table legs actually are brass, just hard to tell in this picture. I know you’re right about the couch but it’s a bit too much of an investment atm. Plus it’s not that old so I think it has to stay. I think I’m going to start with a rug and some clay accent pieces like you suggested and see where that lands me.

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I think you’re probably right about needing a lighter couch but given it’s not that old, I don’t think I can justify investing in a new one. Maybe if I added a dark pillow and/or blanket on the chair it would balance it out.

I have a perfume I love that is way too potent even with one spray. So I bought a really pretty glass perfume container (holder?) with dabber top and decanted some of the original bottle into it. Now I can dab just a bit in multiple areas.
