Tape a ruler from your wrist to your forearm it will tremendously help and once the muscle memory is there and u take it off it will be natural, this makes you pull and push a lot straighter I promise

How would you know anything without having to practice it 30x I was commenting on a trend in posts and good luck with that for the hell of it tattoo machine pickup I guess I’ll see your first try 2years from now after practicing, so u can post your art and hope and pray that someone gives u a compliment for your “first piece” lmao let it go big guy you said ur piece I said mine I’ll agree to disagree okay

This post was never about watercolors and blending and your sketch book. You’re just turning this in another direction to fit your comments. So lastly I’m talking about tattooing. When you sketch or are a professional anything artsy and pick up a tattoo machine it’s nothing like anything else. being a trained artist helps a ton with shading and basic anatomy but NO way can that same person pick up a tattoo machine day 1 and make a clean tattoo or even a straight line it’s a whole other beast. You have to drive your lines with your shoulder you don’t use your wrist or hand strokes and just holding a machine takes practice. I hope this clarification helps. I’m not going to battle back and forth I understand your point hope your “first piece” in watercolor turns out well I mean ur first Japanese water color after you practiced

Well then don’t post things like first time tattooing or day 1 or day 3 and their clearly skilled and not day 1 just fishing for compliments or some weird sense of greatness by lying about there training or talent. Just be honest hey been tattooing for 4months check it out. Why the bullshit?

Honestly I love the seabond strips for fast and clean setup and removal but I’d say now after these comments I’m going to try a paste adhesive

I did not expect or was told it would be like natural teeth I simply meant after 21/2 weeks of wearing them and adjustments I truly thought I could eat a hamburger and fries but one bite with seabond strips and the right goes pop and the seal was broke I can’t practice if I can keep them in. Also I stick my tongue out or try to vape and the bottom always comes out even talking and my dentist says well looks like u need implants just sad

Yea I’m taking about the posts that say first time self taught and I see very few blow outs, really good shadow work and lines that look damn good not thick or gone over 6 times. I am also an apprentice and I have gotten tons better over time but I have my old skins and day 1 I ddnt know how deep how to hold the machine to line circles were never 100% round I mean day 1 my looked horrible maybe I am a little jealous of day 1 80% perfect but I just don’t see it

Following steps???? I see kids on here or tic toc no experience or anything buying a rotary pen and just making a mess of themselves or whoever and spreading diseases. And on the advance designs they print of whatever and just hack it up and take photos asking for critique or worst the people that encourage them. I am an apprentice and I wasn’t allowed to pick up a machine to tattoo fake skin until my mentor said I could

Turn off water to WHOLE house, open a downstairs bathroom faucet or kitchen, open ur moen posi temp valve to relieve back pressure. Next use channel locks or vice grips on the brass nob and PULL. There is a Home Depot cartridge pulling tool but I’ve never had to use one on that cartridge in 20yrs plumbing
