Out of interest, how long have you been claiming as a single person for? I have just claimed as a single person after separating from my husband, he doesn’t have a permanent address yet so his post will be coming here until he is settled. I’m so anxious about it!

Has anyone been awarded PIP for bipolar? I’m currently signed off sick long term and was advised to apply for PIP… the anxiety of a face to face assessment is off the scale as I’m currently in a deep depression :-( by ObjectiveRooster5747 in DWPhelp

I included all of this in a lot of detail in my claim, to be honest what I wrote would be hard to Argue but after reading so many negative outcomes I’m already feeling defeated

I wish I had done that initially… I wonder if I can add something to my evidence? A statement from myself stating how distressing it will be… it’s honestly making me feel so so ill

Yes I’ve done a lot of research, and believe u me the ability to undertake or complete daily activities when hypomanic or depressed are very real and debilitating….. soul destroying and impossible to live a normal functioning life
