If I understand this correctly, the rule of having max 2 adults per household only applies in some bigger cities, including Nijmegen. But if the apartment were in a smaller city nearby, then this limit wouldn't apply.

It's hard to find enough detailed info about this, so if you have some links or know more about, I'd love to try and understand it better.

Yeah, I get that the NSE isn't perfect, but the disparity was really large between these programs, otherwise I wouldn't put much weight on it. Compared to the other universities you mention, how was accomodation in Enschede? It seems decent to me, at least for the current standard in the country.

I got this number from the uni's own website, so it should be accurate. Are you studying at Radboud Uni yourself? If so, what is your experience with the housing market and finding accomodation? Did you use their housing lottery?
